Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Hermiston

Terrible experience with this Domino's. The order I placed was nearly 2 hrs before I called to find out where my pizzas were, and was left on hold for 15 minutes before the call was terminated for an unknown reason. The weather was bad so I had waited and gave ample time for delivery however, the pizza place is only a few blocks away so I went there myself to pick it up.

Instead of bothering an employee, I immediately requested a manager. The man behind the counter identified himself as a manager and I explained what had happened and that I wanted to know where my pizzas were. He told me that they were not in the system. I showed him my order number and he went back to a large stack of waiting pizzas.. stating that they had "cleared" my order but were waiting on a driver. Having worked in food service, I know they did that to keep their times low and not show a discrepancy which they would have to explain.

Instead of offering to make it right or DO ANYTHING.. I got really annoyed with him. Asking over and over again what he was willing to do... To which he replied that I could re-order my pizzas. I told him no, and that I wanted the pizzas I had ordered.

The ACTUAL manager came up and overrode the purchase and refunded me, tossing the pizzas down on the counter.. then sarcastically saying "there, it's done, you don't have to pay for it" then again sarcastically "Hava a great day sir!!".

Meanwhile their work crew was making "grumpy old men" references the ENTIRE time I was in there dealing with the issue (which I ignored, but took note of).

Most incompetent, rude, and unprofessional experience I have ever had at a Domino's, and I will never spend a dime there in the future. Absolutely horrible and I do not recommend anyone support this business as they need to learn basic customer service and professionalism in...

This place is the worst to call for delivery. I love dominoes but anytime I call them I get no answer. What's the point of having a phone for no one to answer. It's ridiculous because I have been going to dominoes for over 20 years but now I'm thinking the fact that pizza hut actually answers the phone maybe I should starts going with them. Dominoes is a joke and it pissese off we have to wait 50 minutes for someone to answer. But no one answers ever. Definitely would not recommend eating here due to lack of proper staff.....but mind you go into the store there is like 7 people working but no one answering the phones. Kinda stupid. Also I have almost 200,000 views and over 1000 reviews for places. So people that know me know I don't screw around when it comes to good food and pizza. I can take a picture when I go in tonight and show how many people work here. Which is what I'm going to do. stay tuned people. So 5 different people here but no one could answer. The girl in front the phone was ringing and she didn't even bother picking up the phone. I wonder how many hundreds of dollars they are missing out on because they don't answer their phone. Guess who people are calling Pizza hut. It's a shame. But maybe this review will open their eyes to the staff being lazy because they are too busy.

Update........I called dominoes on 11-27-23 at 4:50.... Got an answer within 2 minutes.......lady was quite nice and amazing ......I work 2 jobs and one is being a foster parent. It always helps when I can get some food delivered as opposed to driving again. Took all the stars to 5!!! Good job dominoes. Slowly...

I only fill these out in hopes management will read them! Been years of roller coasters as in quality and service at this establishment but after years of traveling and always coming back to hermistons own dominos because i love dominos food ive discovered its not the store thats the issue its the people they have to choose from locally to run the store and the amount of value in their own life reflects their work yet again not at all disappointed anymore its to be expected to just order menu items dont customize anything! Otherwise your paying their wages not for items to purchase! to many bowls in the morning never enough cereal or something! They always forget something a ingredient or a drink something always is missing or burnt never fails but again to be expected after years of bad reviews yea ive gotten menu items that taste amazing but i have to remind myself "I" cant order what "I" like to eat because "IT NEVER" gets prepared how i order it online IN WRITING ON A COMPUTER SCREEN THEY HAVE TO LOOK 👀 RIGHT AT TO KNOW WHAT TO EVEN MAKE! hopefully someday when my kids beg me for dominos and im driving through i can give yall a 5 star but as of 2020 its only gained one due to consistency and reliability of service and thats not a complement people...
