This IS your Mom & Dad's Thai restaurant, with a local winery support twist, only slightly Americanized. The atmosphere is dated and traditional in that 1975-1985 sort of way, which is absolutely meaningless when compared to the service and food! Road construction currently (2/2023) makes it difficult to get into or out of right now, but the trouble is worth it for the flavors and spice. The ingredients are fresh, the sauces are homemade, and the spice is VERY traditional - as in order above two stars only if you KNOW you can handle the heat. My husband and I really enjoy the food. We just moved to Hermiston and have eaten here twice. Both times we loved everything that we ordered. Unfortunately, the last time that we ate here, we learned that it was NOT child friendly from our server. We try to clean up after our baby (we wipe up food off the floor with napkins, supervise our son's eating habits, and leave a nice tip, etc). We eat out weekly with our son at a variety of restaurants and have never felt uncomfortable before this experience.
