Nelly's Super Tacos — Restaurant in Hermiston

My wife and I got a room at the roadway inn Thursday night . After we checked into the hotel we decided to go next door to get something to eat the internet said that they were open until 8pm and it was 6:40pm so we went over there and all the open signs were in the windows and the kitchen lights were on but the dining room lights were off so I tried to open the door to go in and a lady came out of the kitchen and said that they were closed. I told her that Google has on their page that they are open until 8pm she said that it's wrong that they close at 7pm I told her that she should turn all the open signs in the windows to closed then if they are closed and she was very rude and said don't be telling me how to do my job. So we left and went across the street and had the best service and great food over there. Next time I come into town I will skip this place and just head across the street where customers are welcome and they have great food and...

Figured I'd give this place a shot due to good review and being unable to find good food in Hermiston. The food is overpriced and quite mediocre (chicken burrito is mostly lettuce).

Their menu in the building is just a mat with pictures of food without prices, ok fine. I ordered a chicken burrito with a side of rice and beans. The total was nearly $15. While I was waiting for my food I ordered an Italian soda which the girl working the counter attempted to overcharge me for (the price was listed on the wall, one of the only items listed with a price). In the end I didn't even get my sauces I had asked for.

So, I once lived in Hermiston, Oregon and personally knew Nelly, the hard-working owner of this establishment, from her well-known food and one of my then wife's Avon customers. She ran a taco truck before moving into her brick and mortar location. When I moved away, she had just purchased this location but hadn't opened. Fast forward a few years and I used the drive-thru and ordered some tacos and I remember them being just as good as they are now!
