Came again. Salmon is the best salmon I have ever had in my 51 years My husband is working here for awhile so we are able to try all the fun places and this is definitely a fun place. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere complete with various tv, big old bar, tables and booths. It seemed very private and we were seated by the back parking lot door. I ordered the salmon, loaded BP, steamed veggies. It came with choice of side and we chose the beef and barley soup. I say we bc it was for hubby. I usually can’t stand the stuff. If ALL beef and barley tasted like that it would be my absolute favorite. It was VERY GOOD. The Damon was a tad over cooked but was flavorful and I can’t wait for leftovers tonight. Hubby had the big order of fish and chips. The halibut itself was cooked to absolute perfection. The batter is a different story. It was over great and ruined the bottom pieces of fish. Lost the crispy part but the fish was so well done I just peeled it off and ate it. Small complaint. The bartender, waiter etc was a very friendly happy guy. I appreciated the energy. Thanks and we will be back!

We had a great time at Nookies! I ordered the Diablo Burger, which was delicious, and loved the Smokey bacon cheesy dipping sauce that came with it - it paired perfectly with both the sweet potato fries and the burger itself. I even enjoyed the entire jalapeno on top of the burger! My fiance enjoyed her Reuben sandwich, which had great toasted bread to her liking, and the regular fries with Cajun seasoning were a hit as well. We also shared a side of pickled fries appetizer, which was incredibly tasty and came with a great spicy ranch dip. We appreciated the restaurant's thoughtful approach to condiments - they brought us a selection of bottles including ranch, fry sauce, and ketchup, so we could help ourselves to our preferred toppings. Our drinks were also spot on - I enjoyed my cloudy IPA beer, while my fiance had a bloody Mary that was good (6/10). Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we'd definitely recommend Nookies to others!

This place was excellent. After two other restaurants were busy and one we wanted to go to was closed. We ended up deciding to try Nookies. The atmosphere is very friendly and they have a lot of really cool antique decor. Definitely a sports bar brewery feel to it. My son got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was huge and very juicy. He wouldn't let me take a picture of it. 😆 I got a Turkey, Bacon, avocado, and smoke gouda sandwich. It was cooked like a grilled cheese. I can't even describe the flavor. It was so tasty and there was a significant amount of turkey and bacon on it. They had house made fry sauce at the table that was spot on. The perfect balance of mayonnaise to ketchup. The server was very good and attentive. 🥰 Next time I'm in town we will return!

We have been here before in the past, and loved it. However, this experience was not as good as we remembered. Immediately as we sat down, the hostess came over (she was lovely) and told us that they were "having a big rush" so the service may be slower. Completely understandable -- however, there were about four other parties in the whole restaurant. We placed our orders, and then waited about 10 minutes for our drinks. Interestingly, we received our bottles of ketchup/ranch/other sauces before our drinks or food? After we got our drinks, it was another 35-40 minutes before we received our food. We ordered three dishes: the fish basket, the ultimate pepperoni pizza, and the prime rib dip with a side salad. The fish basket and pizza were both great! However, the prime rip dip/salad was problematic. The salad was ordered with no tomatoes - we received it with enough tomatoes to completely cover up a napkin. The sandwich was ordered with no horseradish, which somehow translated to "nothing on the sandwich but meat". Our server did not notice anything was wrong with that order (despite the tomatoes being in plain sight, picked off the salad, in the middle of the table) until we had asked for slices of cheese to just put on ourselves. It was not until she returned with the cheese -- her 3rd visit since giving us our food -- that she acknowledged it was messed up and asked if we wanted it remade. The one positive was that at least we got a discount for the sandwich because, in her words, "that was really embarrassing". Overall, the food was good, but the service was inexcusable. It's hard for a customer believe you're in the middle of a rush when the restaurant is empty, especially when 2/3 of our party works in...

PLEASE read the whole review and note how the management cares and reached out to talk with us, they didn't push it off! Thank you Nookies Management.

Worse food ever over $40 for two dinners of microwaved chicken fried steak and burnt ribs. Service was even worse than food. Waitresses spent more time flirting and worried about who they would go outside and smoke with than waiting on customers. Our food was brought to us and she never came back to check on us for anything. Finally a bus boy came and asked if we needed anything we had covered our nasty food and served it aside. We asked for check and he had to get it for us. Will never ever return or recommend. I have never written a negative review for any place and this was such an awful experience I googled to look how to save people their hard earned money to avoid this place! There was a lot of staff not doing much of anything but flirting with each other and sitting and talking and on their phones. Our food took forever to get to us and wish we had left before it came! Not even asked once about a refill or anything.

Since we posted this we were contacted by the owner or manager and she was extremely concerned and wanted to talk to us about it. When we spoke she truly was kind and truly wanted to make things right. I would have to say that Nookie's management is extremely caring and concerned and I believe that this dinner was a one time event for Nookies. To the future and good things to come...

Well first time impressions are only made the first time. Had a special occasion and so was nearby and decided this is where we would go - Bottom line "Disappointed" Was expecting more. From the beginning the days leading up to this we made a online reservation on The company home page. Received a confirmation statement saying we have received your request but stating it is not a confirmation and that would follow?? It never followed. Strike one. We arrive and we're greeted promptly and asked for a booth and we're seated promptly - that was the last positive in what could have been a great meal. The Service was horrible for being probably 65% capacity. The food is good not great. The Steak was so chewy in spots for us both it was at times not eatable. The Salad was unimaginable and boring and was marginal at best. The Waitress needs training in how to clean tables and bar counter watching her for a moment or two after she had forgotten to bring us silverware and Napkins we were appalled that she wiped down the entire counter with one small rag then with the same rag went a wiped down two tables then to the door and wiped the handle. Cross contaminated the entire place+ we then looked at our table closer and saw smear marks and the menus were not clean.. Maybe it was a bad day to there. I wish them well but nobody there really cared once that we were there spending near $100.00 Highly unlikely I...
