City Hall Cheesecake — Restaurant in Hernando

Amazing cheesecake and amazing service! My husband and I were out and about on a search for bread pudding last night. When I couldn't find any, I thought about cheesecake. Although I only KINDA like cheesecake, I know he loves it, so we stopped by to try City Hall Cheesecake for the first time. The place itself is warm and cozy, and the customer service is amazing-- everyone was smiling even though it was an hour before closing. They even had a "date night special" --complete with date night questions to make the night more fun (we actually answered the questions while eating our cheesecakes. They were really good questions.) As for the cheesecake, let me tell you, I only KINDA liked cheesecake before trying CHC, but after last night (and then again today), I'm a cheesecake LOVER! OMG! The portion size is generous and the flavor and texture were perfect. The variety of flavors blew my mind. My husband and I are some pretty tough critics when it comes to food, but I tell you that there is nothing bad that can be said about CHC. It was all so good that we made the drive back down there today and got more. Today we got a variety so that our kids could try some too. Shucks, the kids almost missed out because they were all so good. Unless or until anything changes, they've got new regulars for life. God Bless and See...

Excuse my Memphis vernacular buuut….. IT DONT MAKE NO SENSE HOW GOOD THEM COOKIES WITH THE BUTTERCREAM IN THE MIDDLE WERE 😭 this does not promote weight loss, which I am currently struggling to do. I want to go back and try the snickerdoodle, the chocolate chip and the sugar cookies. I want to be waiting at the door when they open the store this morning 😩 I can’t remember what they were called but that peanut butter one was AMAZING 🤩 after I took the first bite, I literally looked at my husband and said, this don’t make no sense how good this is😂 the cheesecake was good too, but I’ll be back again for that snickerdoodle after I lose about 20 more pounds 😅 I love the atmosphere of the store, can’t wait to bring my kiddos to check out the bookstore and buy them a cookie. This place is one of Hernando, Mississippi's best kept secrets! The cheesecake is beyond delicious. They have so many different flavors to choose from... it makes it hard to choose. I had the Butterfinger cheesecake, and my husband had the Pumpkin Pie cheesecake along with a cup of delicious coffee. The sitting areas are comfortable and quaint. It provides areas for conversation while enjoying their decadent dessert. You can also take your cheesecake "to go". They sell cheesecake by the slice or whole. They also sell 6 slices of different cheesecake of your choice that you can take home in a cake round. They are conveniently located and easy to find... Just look for the blue house!
