Most amazing way to spend a Saturday morning!! Visit Hernando Slow Roast for better quality coffee at a better price than the good coffees at Walmart, and watch them roast your coffee right in front of you- both ground and whole bean options! Visit Brown Family dairy for better tasting milk, beef, and sausage at very competitive prices- my 13 year old can't get enough, to my dismay. While it's still in season, get fresh and locally grown produce, honeys, and cuttings for your own garden! Always remember to support your local farmers! Hand-sewn crafts, cottage goods- some very nice ladies make the absolutely BEST sauces for so many meal varieties and combos, and if you ask them for recommendations, they know a lot of ways to kick up basic meals with them. Of course, do NOT miss the Homestead Nursery booth, you'll not find a better source for all your planting needs- they have decorative flowers and plants, food and starters, herbs galore, comfrey and nitrogen fixers- you name it!
Absolutely the best way to spend a Saturday...

It is indeed a blessing to be able to find these little oasis of what the 'real' heart of America is about. 🏡 ❤...
Read moreI love this farmer’s market! It isn’t huge (which is nice during the scorching summer heat), but they have a good selection of vendors. I’ve bought produce from several different farms and haven’t been disappointed. There’s also a good selection of canned goods/jams and baked goods, plus a couple of craftsmen. Parking is generally easy, and most of the marker is stroller-friendly. I recommend going early to...
