Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Hernando

When you spend 50 dollars, you expect to get your food properly cooked. These days, it seems impossible. Food service is definitely not how it was 5 years ago. Instead, the management isn't managing, and the kids would rather talk and play on phones. Which was exactly what was seen when arriving at the store. A bunch of kids huddled in a circle talking. Which is fine if you have nothing to do. Yet, when you receive improper food. It makes you question things. I ordered on the app. I've ordered this order several times in different states. There was no way that my order should've been done in 10 mins. Yet, my husband went and picked it up. As it stated, it was done. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza with chicken, onions, and banana peppers with extra on all the toppings. I also ordered the cheese sticks with an extra cup of sauce, as well as the papa pairings cookie and brownie desserts. The pizza wasn't atrocious. It wasn't cut through all the way, but that's a simple fix. I didn't see the extra toppings. What I did notice was that the toppings were mostly on one side. The cheesesticks seemed possibly undercooked. Yet, the desserts were definitely improperly cooked. The cookie was undercooked, while the brownie was cooked hard and burnt on the outside. Not to mention, the brownie had a cut across. Both desserts were absolutely awful. This was my first and last time...

The owners are an alcoholic couple that runs their store on rage and withdrawals. They unjustly fire people all while insulting, yelling at, and degrading employees. The wife wrongly performs deliveries and takes money from her own employees by doing so. The husband of this partnership, doesnt stand up or disagree with the chaos his wife conveys and so it is pointless. Here, the favored drivers get to make their own schedule, show up when they want too, even when they arent on the schedule even when the amount of business doesnt justify the labor cost. Again, wrongfully taking money from other employees that actually are scheduled. Its no wonder why there is such a high turn over. This place is a joke. One minute you are allowed employee meals and discounts and the next day you are not. This place runs on a constant state of uncertainty. Also, despite their claims and bold signage out front, their dough is NOT FRESH. It comes frozen....

Order was delivered wrong. I spoke with the "manager" who identified himself as "Jameson Knowles". He hung up on me 3 times (he claimed it was only 2 during our fourth phone call) over the course of our conversation. I only asked that he refund me the tip that I left on the order, as it was not what I ordered. He repeatedly refused, despite telling me that he could cancel the order and re-ring it correctly.

I only hope that Papa John's has the ability to review all phone calls placed to its locations, so that they can make much-needed personnel improvements.
