Min Ga Nae — Restaurant in Herndon

This is part of the Hmart Herndon food court where they serve excellent Korean food.

When I am shopping this Hmart, always make it a point to eat here. They do lots of things right that make this eatery very attracting.

It is not very big, but good enough for a quick meal. There a lots of 4 person tables. They are all spaced out at this time to allow for proper social distancing while eating.

The food is quite good as well. They do take their time to make it right. Lots of the food has a good amount of spiciness. If you are not able to handle food that is too spicy, let them know and they will accommodate.

Keep an eye out as you enter the store for food court promotions. They run promos and you can see what they are offering at the food court and as you enter the store.

They take all major credit cards and have a Square terminal register to allow them to accept mobile payments which is a big plus when you are able to do contactless payment.

Not a fan of this ktown's food compared to other H mart locations. I ordered a bibimbap like I normally do. A large bowl came out with COLD vegetables in it, in a side bowl was white rice and another smaller side dish a few pieces of kimchi and another yellow pickled vegetable. That was all. If that was my first experience with ktown I'd be content, but since I've been to others multiple times, it was a let down. Prices were the same but they did not include the small bowl of hot soup and side of dried seaweed that other locations have provided. I was turned off by the cold vegetables in the bowl instead of the normal bowl with rice and warm vegetables on top. Not thrilled to try this...

Really didn’t want to have to make this review, since it was previously one of my favorite spots to get Korean food at a reasonable price. However I ordered takeout from them today and found not one, but TWO HAIRS in my food. Had to throw it away after two bites.
