Taki Tacos — Restaurant in Herndon

Stayed in this area for a week and this was the best food, by a 1000 miles. Happened upon this place as I was heading to the bigger H Mart next door. Checked the reviews online. Highest rated taco place in town? Okay, I'm interested.

Ordered the 3 tacos specials and chicken quesadillas. Each of the tacos had 2 slices of tortillas, so your tacos don't fall apart. Each taco had more than enough protein and so much flavors. Delicious and flavorful. Quesadillas were cut into 4 handprint slices and served with sour cream and salsa, which was enough food by itself.

No frills, set in the corner of a strip mall, these are the places you luck upon and dream of while your plane flies back home.

If I lived here, I would be a weekly patron. I ate the tacos and saved the quesadillas for a late night hotel snack.

Great little taco spot. Found it in my area and decided to stop by. My wife and I each had a taco platter (al pastor & carne asada) with rice and beans. I didn’t know how authentic these would taste, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you are in the Reston/herndon area I would highly recommend stopping by. Omg love how authentic the tacos are , their amazing staff and tasty sides . !!they opened in March - april but suffered the pandemic .. Little hole in the (corner) wall place in hmart plaza.. next to chicken rico and hunan...pls don't miss this ! I would love to go n sit outside I saw chairs but this first order was togo.. old skool street tacos , sides and beans n rice .. one platter is more than enough for 1 I absolutely loved the guac here !!
