Arby's — Restaurant in Herrin

We went to eat here after our son's state track meet. There was nobody there when we first arrived. Our order was slightly large due to the amount of people with us. We orded a Gyro w/ strawberry lemonade, 2 chx nuggets, 6 pc mozzarella stick, pick 2 for 6, jamocha shake, 2 reg strawberry lemonade, a buff chx slider and a ranch snack wrap. Mind you it was during happy hour. We paid and they had us pull up and wait. As I'm waiting, I'm looking at the receipt and notice that I was charged full price for the nuggets when it was supposed to be the happy hour price. I proceed inside to address it and I notice that there are only 2 employees working. The gentleman asked if he threw 2 more nuggets in the bag if that would be okay. I approved because I wasn't there to start anything, just wanted them to fix the mistake. I wait and get my order and take it out to the car. As we are pulling things out of the bag and passing them out we realized they forgot certain sauces. My daughter took a drink of her strawberry lemonade and complained it tasted like water. I then took a sip and in fact it was PINK water. I took a sip of my other daughters strawberry lemonade and it was the same way. Mind you, during all of this, they became super busy. My significant other went inside for them to make both of the so called lemonades correctly. They had to contact corporate because of a receipt issue and claimed they were going to refund some money. We haven't received it still, so I'm going to assume we won't receive it at all. What was supposed to be a quick drive through ended up being an hour of complete chaos. In the employees defense, they were extremely short staffed and nobody should have to work under the pressure that they have had to today. The 2 men whom I didn't get their names were extremely understanding and respectful about it. They did everything to try to make it right. Food was fresh and hot and delicious. A couple of young girls was standing at the counter eating and carrying on and laughing. Not sure if they was waiting on more of their order or not. Not sure if they was asked to go to a table or if they got the rest of their order but they made a big deal about it at the table. Actually they was downright rude about it and making rude comments over it. Well those other people had just waited a few more minutes to come in it wouldn't have been an issue. Well guess who those other people was it was me and one of my friends. I've always been out if you don't have nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all and this is a time those girls should have practiced that. They was only two tables away from where myself and my friend was sitting and I could hear everything they was saying. I know that doesn't have anything to do with the restaurant but in a way it does because of the way the girls was acting in the attitude. Had I been the manager of that restaurant I probably would have asked those girls to politely pick up their food and go out sit outside and eat and I wouldn't care how hot it was outside that day or how cold if the weather was cold. My belief is if you're in a restaurant everybody should be decent enough so everybody can enjoy their meal and visit with the people at their table instead of having to listen to rude comments from other customers especially when the rude comments is towards other customers. Just saying not saying this because the girls was talking about me and my friend but just because I had to hear it and I really don't care what anybody thinks or has to say about me but if they can't say it to my face they don't need to be...

UPDATE, this was never taken care of. Received an Email and did what it said, that was a MONTH ago. Tonight (first time I've been there since my last review) My large fry was "maybe" a small fry. Staff was nicer though. As a company though, it's not the Arby's I remember growing up at all!!

This is literally the third time this has happened so I decided to make a review. I don't get off duty until 9:15. So I try to figure out dinner to get for the family on break and just get it on my way home.. It's 7:46pm right now, I called to see if they still have the 5 for $10 deal. The phone rang for 6 minutes before I hung up.. This happened twice last month as well, so I went to Wendy's. If you guys don't want my $ for some reason that's fine. It's 7:52, just called again and was hung up on, I called right back and a fax machine picked up, 7:55 I called AGAIN and a young man that sounded Extremely irritated picked up.
