Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hewitt

It’s a Pizza Hut. If you’re familiar with Pizza Hut, this is going to meet your expectations as far as taste, texture, and cost. As far as service goes, though, this place exceeded my expectations, which pushed me to write a review online about a friggin Pizza Hut. I haven’t eaten at a Pizza Hut in literally 20 years, but I had a weird day already and thought, why don’t I see what it’s like these days? I put a carry out order in and told myself, even if I need to make other plans for this afternoon snack at least I tried and at least the price is reasonable. Ordering online was quick and easy, and the pizza was ready at the estimated time. When I picked up the order, I was greeted by a friendly young man at the counter, received the pizza, then I was on my merry way. When I got home, I realized there was a serious issue with this order, so I called to see what could be done. They remade the order and had it ready in 20-25 minutes. This new order was perfect, and it was a nostalgic flavor trip through childhood sleepover memories. Is it a gastronomical masterpiece? No. Is it satisfactory franchise pizza? Absolutely. Will I order from here again? 100% because of the service I received and the consistent flavors one can expect. I typically avoid chain restaurants and fast food, but being a new resident of Waco (and suburbs) and having subpar experiences with the family-owned local pizza places, this may become my go-to...

Incredibly Rude. I called to place an order. I was asking if they had a particular special still available which I had an advertisement for. They literally hung up on me. I called back and asked "Did you just hang up on me?" The young girl said "Yes I did". I said "Why did you do that". She said "Because you didn't sound serious." I said "Did you bother to look up my phone number and see that I have ordered there several times before?"

Instead of admitting her mistake she continued to berate me about how I worded the call. Claiming "That's not how you are supposed to place an order". I didn't realize there was a specific script I was supposed to follow when ordering a pizza. Especially when inquiring about a special.

Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. I'm not even mad that she was so rude, but if they treat customers like that, how much do you think they care...

Update: Found out this girl's name is Jasmine. The driver was cool and nice, but this manager Jasmine has no business in customer service. Fire her immediately. Pizza cold and stale. Just called to check on the status of my order and this woman -manager or supervisor- I guess seemed to have a huge attitude because I'm calling to ask after waiting over 25 minutes. She cuts me off, talks over me and I already prepaid and tip telling me she's not going to have her drivers speed. I never once stated I wanted pizza drivers to drive fast or speed... I called to make sure everything was okay and to see what was going on. Customer service here was awful and I will NEVER purchase from Pizza Hut again. I will be taking a picture of my pizza as well and posting it, so when it gets here it better at least look good since I've been waiting over 1 hour for a...
