If you gotta have donuts, this could do the job. I wasn't impressed at all. I ordered a sausage and cheese kolache, donut holes and a chocolate iced donut.
Kolache was hard on the ends like they have microwaved it a few times or for too long. But it wasn't super hot like it should have been.
Donut holes: okay, the freshest thing out of my order. Chocolate iced donut, stale.
Also, while I was reading the menu prior to pulling up at the window I saw the staff hang their heads out the window and stare at me... And roll their eyes.
Location: It took a good 2 minutes to make a right onto Hewitt Drive, it was school rush hour and if you wanted to make a left? Forget it at that time! Hewitt Drive is very poorly constructed especially with having 3 Midway schools within 4 miles....

The signage with menu prices was unclear and missing pricing. I ordered what I was able to see from the outside menu in the drive through. I ordered a Pine Cone, Donut Holes, and a Jalapeno and Cheese Kolache. The Pine Cone and Donut Holes were dry and under iced. The lady who helped me at the window was kind and nice, though. There is a Shipley's off of Hwy 84 and Hewitt Drive that has excellent donuts and because of efficiency and supply and demand, always has fresh donuts. I say that to suggest that the competition is fierce and Daylight could do so much better!...
Read moreSo I was skeptical on whether I wanted to go to daylight donuts because I like Shipley's donuts better. But anyway I stopped and I got an apple fritter and a raspberry filled donut. The raspberry filled donut was very good but the apple fritter was so hard I could barely chew it. It's supposed to be a light crunch on the outside and soft and just a little bit doughy on the inside and it was cooked so hard that the apple was gone out of it. My dad used to own a donut shop and one of the best donuts he ever made was the apple fritter. So I won't ever go back to...
