Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory — Restaurant in Hewitt

We dined in at the new Rosa's Cafe in Hewitt and was extremely pleased with the beautiful atmosphere and the wonderful service we received! I'm not sure if it's the fact that this restaurant is new, or what but every single employee was smiling, eager to serve, and seemed very genuinely happy to be at such a wonderful place to serve hungry customers! This location was extremely neat and tidy, the food was made fresh, and the taste was extremely pleasant for any pallette. The restaurant had plenty of diners, but was not too overly busy. The outside areas next to the building and the parking areas were additionally neat and tidy as well. I very easily give this particular location a 5 star because I couldn't find anything negative going on to dissatisfy my taste. I will visit back again when the new wears down and see how this location stands up to the test of time, but for now go dine in, try out their drive thru or even door dash your dinner and simply sit...

Here's the bad first - the food is just ok. Most of the food has very little to no flavor. The most flavorful plate I was able to find was the fajita beef plate. The guac and tortillas is also good. It's also really expensive for what it is. I could probably save money and not order drinks or any sides but I like to have drinks with my meals.

Here's the good: there is plenty comfortable spaces to sit in this place at any time. That to me is awesome. The dining space is very large so it doesn't seem overcrowded even when there are a lot of people there. There's also plenty of parking space so if you're hauling a trailer and you need somewhere to park and eat this has worked out for us. The service is fast usually very fast which is nice. By the time you order your food is pretty much ready by the time you have picked out your table. This is been my experience so far each time I've come and for that it's one of the reasons I'll probably keep...

Thank you Rosas Hewitt employees!! You are doing an excellent job. I am truly grateful for the new Rosas in Hewitt. I went today for the first time 2/23/2022 and they actually listened and made my food to my liking. Everything was excellent!! I am one of those people that like meat well done. I’ve had problems getting other Rosas restaurants to make my fajitas well done. I usually just get a blank stare. When you order something special and they don’t do anything (like punch a couple extra buttons on register or call out to someone) it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know they’re not listening. Most times I’ve had to involve managers as the staff usually just ignore my request or worse argue with me that all of their meats are well done instead of just making it more well done for me. I finally got the Rosas on Franklin Ave in Waco to make my fajitas well done but it took about 10 visits with the manager before...
