what blew me out of proportion its that they do not let you know that the live show that they present its gonna be charge on your tab at a price of $70 and the tip its also include on top of it but the tip i’m ok with many high end know restaurant do that when your tap its over $100.But that the live show its paid by the customer its straight outrageous and even more without telling you in advance so that its your decision if you wanna stay or leave. To begin with service was horrible the waiter only care about taking our order and nothing else he also took the liberty of bringing a bottle of wine of his own selection without asking everyone on the table and it wasn’t even the cheapest one its was higher that the house price bottle but it was ok until the end that had a sand like substance on the bottom of it but it didn’t stop there the waiter never came around to even ask how the food taste or if it was the proper coccion and last and

The most enjoyable lunch in Miami. The atmosphere was delectable w a pianist taking request and playing oldies that make us remember those old happy times or maybe something not so happy but good still worth a thought. The special lunch menu has an excellent price the food is plentiful and what really counts well executed. My partner never got to dessert and I was only able to eat have. I ordered the rainbow trout w serrano ham Grill top w cheese my companion the Dijon Pork Solomillo both excellent. Sorry, I don't have this pictures to show. Was to good so forgot to take the pic. The service was good but not enough to take points from the restaurant, pianist for sure made up for any mistake the server had. Sorry I didn't get his name but it was a pleasure to listing to his music and have a bit of conversation.Taberna Ignacio will be seeing us soon.

I hate writing poor reviews, but this is one of the tools to improve. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back here for a while. Apart from being egregiously overpriced ($8 for kids lemonade and charging extra for a single side on an already pricey meat dish, and extra for bread), the service was poor. Very nice servers, but very minimal service. I shouldn't have to ask for water, or even a refill of water in Miami. I couldn't find my server to ask for more water or wine or anything else. He was pleasant enough when he showed up, but the place was mostly empty, so I find it hard to understand why the minimal service. Service is what makes an expensive meal worth it, and this was minimal. Very disappointed. The place has great potential. Nicely decorated to feel like a tavern, in-line with the name of the restaurant, but I expect at least one side to be included with a meal, otherwise, it's not a meal, it's just a dish. To top it off, we were charged for bread. I just don't understand that happening in Miami, and from a Spanish restaurant. The nickel and diming is off-putting, to say the least. Restaurants are a part of the service industry, and a part of hospitality. This restaurant fulfills neither.

My wife and I went to eat and watch the show on Saturday, Cesar attended us, we ordered a bottle of wine with our food, even with the glasses in half Caesar the waiter came and served us, I said thank you but I liked to serve myself the wine, he bowed and said, well it lasts longer, I did not tell him how cool and daring it was because my wife had given him an attack, but I asked for the bill and of course I did not I gave the bold and insolent Cesar no tip, two days later I went in the morning and asked for the owner, he attended me and explained what had happened with his waiter and that before giving him a review of what had happened I wanted to call him to tell him in front of him, he told me it was his day off, but please do not write anything, he was looking for another waiter to replace him because it was not the first time he was complained about, I told him I said that I did not want to hurt him and I would not do it, but the one that was Doing damage was the insolent and ill-mannered of Cesar, his waiter, I went and a month to make a reservation for my family because it was my sister's birthday, but when they gave me the reservation I asked if Cesar was still working in the restaurant and They answered that yes, cancel the reservation and I told him why, so I have called several times for months, and Cesar's lack of respect continues to work there, so the owner Miguel Acevedo does not care how his waiters bring their customers, so I decided to write this review as I do in other pages to warn others of what can happen to this waiter lack of respect and without any professionalism, although I know that this or something similar has had to...

First of all I came here for a paella, and I received a paella flavored risotto, paella is not supposed to be wet, as a suggestion for the chef, you need to look up the term "socarrat" so you can cook a paella properly. Second of all, our server Christian was rude, he made us order more food than necessary and messed our order. When our order was brought by another server (female) we let her know that we hadn't ordered what she brought and she said "yes, you ordered this" and left. Obviously what she brought was more expensive than the plate we intended to ordered, I also got a lemonade and it costs $8. I was prepared to leave 10-15% tip because of the poor service but to my surprise a 20% tip was already included in our bill (the manu states they charge the tip for a group of 6 people, and we were 4). We had 1 glass of wine, 1 lemonade, 3 bottles of water, a cheese table, a chicken soup, a slice of tortilla (eggs and potatoes only, no onions or red bell pepper, so not Spanish at all, and no olive oil flavor whatsoever), and a paella for 3 people and our bill was almost $170. This place is just a horrible attempt of Spanish food with no quality or flavor for a steep price. Wouldn't recommend to anyone...
