Paraiso Tropical — Restaurant in Hialeah

I have been eating here for a couple of years now but this review won't be the same as my last. Like every successful business this restaurant has grown and I am very happy for the owners. Now lately I have found that the quality in their food hasn't been the best. About two weeks ago I ordered two Churrascos for delivery, they raised their price to 19.99 now and I had to specify to the lady on the phone to but some more Moro because the last time I ordered they hardly put rice. Well when I got my order it was the same and on top of the fact that the Churrasco had no taste I think they forgot to season it not even salt I had to modify it a little to be able to eat it at least it was well done like I asked. This past Friday we went to visit the waitress always had this face like she wasn't very happy tending to our table and when we got the check to pay they added a 12 dollar tip to our total mandatory and on the bottom their was a line to leave an additional tip. I have been there many times and the food is always good. The waitress are always very pleasant but it’s out of fear. The manager/ owner is super rude. Yesterday we went for my elderly fathers birthday with a group of seven at peak lunch hour. There was heavy drilling over by the bar for better hour. When my brother asked to speak to manager, he came out swinging and told my brother in front of other customers that hey if u can’t deal with the noise you’ll can go to restaurant across the street. I couldn’t believe it that’s not customer service. I’ve been in customer service for 20 years and that’s not how you handle situations like that. I would NOT recommend anyone go there. It’s a shame because the food is great 👍🏼 but I will NOT be treated like that. And still we didn’t leave because my parents are elderly and they wanted to stay. I Love coming here, I feel like home without me having to cook! The family that owns this place feels like they are related to me (haha)

The food is amazing, I'm never disappointed, very authentic Cuban Food.

Seriously I never get bored of coming, I have tasted all of their plates throughout the years (3) of me coming. So why did it take me so long to post because In the beginning everything is great and then something starts dwindle down in either quality or portion size, but I must say they are consistent.

The staff here must live it because they are the same since I have been coming and that my friend says a lot about the owners.

Any simple or dumb request I make they aim to please with. GENUINE SMILE never sarcastic.
