I was so excited about this Panera opening in our neighborhood. I was one of the first customers in the drive through. I've been here five times and EVERY ORDER has been a disaster! The first order (placed online for drive thru pick up) was so delayed they had to have me park to get it. We waited 20 minutes (no exaggeration) and they offered me a cookie for my "patience". The 2nd order was delivery (I live less than 5 minutes away). The soup arrived COLD and was the wrong soup. I ordered 2 pick 2s and they refunded me $3. The 3rd order was a drive thru order for breakfast. Both sandwiches were made wrong. The 4th order was another order placed online and picked up in the drive thru. Sandwich was made wrong, drink and utensils had to be asked for. Today took the cake. I ordered 2 you pick 2s in the app. Arrived to the drive thru for pick up and the person at the window was SO RUDE. I had to repeat myself several times (there wasn't a language barrier) and she passed me the order without a word. I asked for my drink. She told me the drink was in the bag (why would you put a cup in a BAG?) I checked the bag and of course it wasn't there. I told her it wasn't. She asked me if I was sure. No, I wasn't sure. I just felt like arguing with her today (insert sarcasm here). She then turns to make the drink and hands it to me without looking and almost drops it! I get home and there is no salad dressing for my salads and my sandwich (which I paid extra to customize) was WRONG. I'm over it. I arrived through the drive through 20 minutes early and no one was answering the us for 3 minutes and we were calling them. we drive to the window and their entire closing shift was standing talking not working. We were then greeted by a skinny guy with a sleeve on his left arm. We asked him if we can order food and he laughed at us and said no. We asked why not because it says their drive thru hours are until 11 pm. He said word for word “i don’t know i just work here”. Mind you this location just opened this past week or so. We asked for a higher up after because this guy was making it look like we were lacking brain cells. Then comes their team lead Marcos and we asked “why are you not taking our order if you guys close at 11 pm” he goes we are sold out of x amount of items and then later on he said they’re closed because of “spring break” The entire conversation and confrontation makes it seem to me like these employees need to be trained on customer service. A few in our neighborhood have had to call contact center with the coupon codes to figure it out. Manager there and associates simply tell you “oh, they must have deleted it from my system” WHAT??? or “we don’t know anything about that!” again, WHAAAT? How are you a Manager or associate at this location and have no idea of how to help with the Pick Two for a year coupon you gave out on opening day??
