El Paso Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hickory

We had the worst experience ever at this restaurant tonight. We visit here frequently and tonight was a disaster with our waitress and her service. When she brought out chips she only brought out bean dip and no salsa. When she came to the table she asked if we wanted more bean dip and we said yes but she never brought any. When I ordered my crispy chicken salad I told her I wanted honey mustard dressing as that is what I always get. She brings my husband’s dish and my salad with no dressing and my son’s meal is still not served. We wait about 15 minutes before she shows up with my son’s food and by that time we were halfway done eating and she forgot what I asked for. She then tells me that they don’t have honey mustard but offered me ketchup! Ketchup on lettuce smh? We watch her continuously make several trips to other tables and provide refills to their drinks as we eat our entire meal without any drink refills. She totally ignores us. We then waited and waited for our check so we leave the table and go upfront to pay. Well she must have ran from the dining room up front to follow us worried we might say something to the manager and rang us up. She got $0 for a tip. My husband and son went on to the car and I decided I would walk back in to speak to the manager. I stood there quite a while with others being helped and I was totally ignored like the picture on a wall. I went outside and had to call the restaurant from the parking lot to complain. The manager just said he was sorry. Sorry is the excuse for the waitress we had. Oh, she was also using sticky notes to write down our order. If you get seated by a heavier set girl then do yourself a favor and leave or ask for someone different. It’s going to be a long time before...

So after coming in and waiting 5 minutes too be sat because there was nobody up front, we then waited 10 minutes for our waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink then waited another 20 minutes for her to come take out order, she then don’t write down anything and goes back and puts our order in just for my order to come out wrong, I ordered enchiladas with all beef and topped with cheese and lettuce, and it comes out drowned in red sauce and it did not say it came with red sauce in the menu and under all the other food that comes with red sauce it says it come with it so why didn’t what I ordered and then they wouldn’t fix it they said I’d have to pay for both of them and both our waitress and the guy who brought our food out had attitudes and the guy brought out check and wouldn’t let us see the screen when he was swiping my card, I then went back in after going outside to get a refund for my food and the guy was mad that I was asking for a refund and said well your girlfriend told you it had red sauce as he sat the food down, so he was listening and our conversation and just so you know I can go to 3 other Mexican restaurants and get the same thing and it don’t come with red sauce and if it does at least their menu says...

I had the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant this evening. Reynaldo was my server and he ran away from the table so fast I couldn't even get my whole drink order done before he turned around and started running away. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and ordered the Poblano pepper entree and was presented with a burrito full of shrimp. He barely came by the table and I had to physically get him from across the restaurant to get my bill. And to end the evening when he checked me out he had the audacity to get my attention on the way out and tell me to fill out the tip line. I serve as a job right now and that is a horrible practice that almost made me go and get the tip I left on the table and walk out. I will never be returning to this restaurant and I recommend you dont either. But if you decide to anyway and you have to decide on waiting 2 hours or sitting in his section, I beg of you to wait...
