Palm Berries — Restaurant in Hickory

The best one I've been to so far! So gorgeous, lots of friendly staff and decorated beautifully! We got some of our favorite, then tried the new spring time bowl. It's definitely more of a base (one mango, one new starburst base) than an acai blend. One side tastes like straight sweet blended mangos(which is amazing but it has mangos on the top too so a little too much) and one is the new Starburst blend, which, no lie tastes like a pink starburst. Its topped with strawberries and chocolate bits and mango and shredd coconut. I beleive that was all, so it was good, but even though we love mango, was a LOT haha. But the staff was great, offering samples, answering questions and to see so many there, all doing something up front, amazing! We always go to the much smaller ones, so to see this one was amazing. They should all be this nice! My 11 yo even commented how much larger and "elegant" (her words) this one was over the others we've gone to. Lol. Bonus They even have a drive thru for pickup orders! Only! Sign said **Parking side note: getting out is insane, takes a good few minutes for anyone to let you out and you can't back up out of the "driveway". You can go through the drive thru, but if there are cars there, you'd have to wait for...

First time at palm berries and will be my last. I went to what is labeled drive thru. Lady asked for my name but I told her I didn’t have an order that I was trying to place one. She then proceeded to tell me that I could either come into the store and order or tried talking me on how to do it online. I ended up order just my boyfriend food as I was going to ask for recommendations since I had never been there before but because it was raining and I didn’t want to drag my 3 year old and my screaming newborn in so I just decided to order online for just him. Placed the order and went back though the drive thru and as the lady was handing me my order she dropped the whole bag on the wet ground. I entered the building having a great day, I left with my 13th reason. There is an annoying blonde lady named Haley who took quite some time to greet me. Now I’m a typical customer, don’t expect too much but I definitely felt under appreciated. I’m a reasonable guy and I can look past all the racial slurs but once the Sami bowl I ordered also matched her in attractiveness and inability to be presentable I drew the line. Her sense of entitlement shined as well, after I gave her a healthy $1291 tip that I got from mostly scamming politicians, and she didn’t have even the slightest amount of courtesy to say thank you. As I was turning to leave I heard her nibbling on something I at first assumed to be baby carrots but discovered as I looked closer was baby pandas.
