This is a corporate quick serve restaurant, so you basically know what to expect, same as all Five Guys. The best quick serve burgers in the US. As for this particular visit, it was later in the evening, so I didn't mind the service to be a tad slow. What surprised me was the service was not any slower considering that they had two employees working on cleaning and servicing the dining room. All things considered there, you have to say it was a great job on the staff's part. Despite being undermanned in the kitchen, they were friendly, got my order right and got it to me in a very reasonable time. I've noticed that Five Guys, like Chick-fil-A have embraced the concept of loving your job. Seriously, it's not just a lame expression, if you don't like what you're doing for a living, find another job. It's some of the best advice anyone can give you. Don't spend your life doing something you don't like. If you don't like what you doing, get off your backside and find something you do like. For those of us eating the food, it's better as well. I trust the food I get from a friendly place like Five Guys a lot more than I would at some place where it looks like the employees are only going through...
Read moreI went there 3 times. A friend heard that their French fries were good and with big portions. The first time was good. The second time my order was lost in space!! I was waiting and when I was the only person left they didn't have my order ticket! They quickly made an order of fries for me. All orders are individually made so I had to wait a couple of minutes more. They can be busy so wait times can be longer than other fast food places. A burger is freshly cooked when ordered. They do not partially cook meat and use it when ordered like most other burger places. You can watch them assemble orders and wrap up the sandwiches. Burgers are thick!!! I will order one next time. We only wanted a quick snack and my friend is gluten intolerant so she is selective about where she eats. This chain cuts their potatoes right on the premises and you get pure uncoated product, unlike many burger chains that buy product that has a coating applied to add flavor to the fries. Their menu items cost a bit more but portions are good and...
Read moreThe food wasn't bad, but the guy behind the register was terrible. While i was ordering, I guess I took too long to his liking and he looked at me, rolled his eyes & shook his head. If it weren't for the group we were with, i would have told him to forget my order & walked out. All the staff were young & each one looked miserable. The only friendly person there was the girl who greeted you by yelling "Welcome to Five Guys!". They forgot a Chocolate Shake that we ordered, so my Fiance went back to the counter to let them know. About 5 minutes later, a young man walks out & very timidly asks to see our receipt. He checked to make sure we had ordered one. We never go up front & ask for something to be made that we didn't order, & I know it probably happens more than not, but it wasn't a very nice feeling in a crowd for people to hear him ask to see our receipt. Just a bad experience all the way around. Oh, & for 4 burgers, 3 fries & 3 drinks & a shake, it was $79! WAY OVER PRICED. I don't see...
