The guys at the counter were super nice and helpful while trying to decide what to order. We went with the Big Gull Sampler to try it all. It offers a 1/4 lb brisket, 1/4 lb smoked turkey, link of sausage, and biscuit with one topping. Perfect for those of us who can't decide when it comes to such amazing options! We even split the biscuit and added an extra topping to try it with both honey and pimento cheese. Everything was delicious! All of the meat was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The biscuit was just like grandma makes and that pimento cheese was creamy and cheesy goodness. Oh and the sauce! The sweet barbecue sauce is divine! I honestly can't even decide which part was my favorite because it was all so good. The high standards they hold for the quality of everything they sell are evident with every bite. Everything is made fresh in-house daily so once they're out, they're out. We will definitely have to get there earlier next time because we missed out on trying the sawmill gravy and mac 'n cheese this trip.

It was a little busy and there was a short line. I got the lunch special of 1/4 biscuit and fries. I also got a biscuit as well. I got sweet bbq sauce for the brisket and butter on my biscuit. They have garlic pepper sauce and mustard bbq sauce available as well. Biscuit toppings include SAWMILL GRAVY, LOCAL HONEY, BUTTER, HOMEMADE PIMENTO CHEESE, LOCAL JELLY, CHEDDAR CHEESE, MOLASSES, and FRIED GREEN TOMATO.
