Went in with a friend tonight to eat some dinner after work! It was about two hours before closing time. No one was to be seen when I walked in to be seated..which was totally cool we where just standing there chatting waiting. Well after the bar lady and a few other waitresses walked by and totally made eye contact but did not say one word nor offer assistance we decided to sit ourselves!! We sat there as multiple waitresses walked by totally ignoring us..and one of them happen to be OUR waitress. I totally get it when youāre busy! Iāve been a waitress for 5 years..you can at least knowledge the customer and let them know you are running behind and youāll be over when you can! Well we ended up sitting there for several minutes waiting on service. Finally someone offered to get our drinks (not our waitress) another ten comes by and we get the drinks..one was awful we sent back and didnāt drink! There was one plus to this group of waitresses! The manager!! She was very sweet she came over and took our order..was busting the girls tables and being overall kind to every table asking if things were good and running food! Finally our waitress tryās to be friendly after our food and drinks were not served by her! Then we were over charged because their systems just do that supposedly !!!?? Overall the price I paid wasnāt worth the service I received. I heard a big man was in there but at the end of the day the customers pay the bills and deserve good dining experience. We also witnessed a whole other family walking out due to the inconvenience. She made a remark to another family of customers about to sit themselves in her section and she said rudely..while looking at ME that the hostess would seat them..and the lady responded that another waitress told them to sit there..they finally all discuss it and the family goes to actually sit in the booth in her section behind us..waits so long they end up leaving! They talk to the manager on the way out explaining how rude the waitress was! A plus was the food was really good. I ordered the 2 for $25 and we both got the 6 oz sirloin and they came out perfect. Perfect management..perfect...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an order over the phone for pick up on November 29, 2022. I got my food home to realize the street corn was burned and my burger was pink half done on the inside. The chicken quesadillas was dry and the cheese had a funny taste to it. I called the high Point chills the next day. I asked for a manager it took him an extremely long time to come to the phone a lady came back on the line and said he never came to the phone for you yet I advised her no. I waited again then they hu the phone. I called back a second time they lady said hold I will get him. Michael a manager of 14 years he said, got on the phone. I told him my story then he hu. I called back he claimed he couldnāt hear me. Strange cause my call wasnāt dropped on my end but I advised Michael how I was unhappy with the food and I didnāt eat and I had it in the car to bring to him to show how my corn, quesadillas just everything was dry and burned. Michael told me thereās nothing he could do cause I didnāt call last night. Michael said Corporate will not do anything about my service cause I called the next day. I advised Michael thatās not good customer service. Michael said well thatās how Chills corporate office will handled it. I advised Michael me and my family eat at the Chills on New Garden and the food quality is never like this. He said he was actually the manager of that Chills and he was filling in today for another manager. I advised Michael I would just leave a review customers shouldnāt have to pay for bad food cause they didnāt call that night kind you I didnāt even eat the food afraid of getting sick I thought I would show it to Michael he has not interest in helping me and he didnāt seem to concerned about me not being happy with my order. I will never eat at another Chills. They will not get no more of my hard earned cash. They clearly do not appreciate their customers and Mr 14 years surely didnāt care. I pray he continue to be there another 14 years. Just thought I would share my experience itās the principle of the situation for me. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my kids here for the first time tonight. I havenāt been in years, and certainly wonāt be back. I ordered a steak medium well for my 4 yr old son. when it arrived, it was rare. Like not even almost medium. I sent it back and it came out literally burnt. It was crispy and black on one side, I assume they didnāt flip it when they cooked it up to the proper temperature. I wouldnāt eat it, let alone give it to my 4 yr old. For myself, I ordered the margarita chicken. There was no seasoning on it whatsoever. It looked like it was boiled or sitting in water all day instead of grilled. I got broccoli instead of rice, which Iām not sure if it was raw or just barely cooked. Our server didnāt check back with us after bringing the burnt steak. Another server came by and asked about the steak while at our table. She was super nice and took it away. We ordered a cookie skillet which was fine, and also a mini lava cake, which I was charged 6.99 instead of the 3.99 price on the kids menu. The worst part of my experience was after the MANAGER came to our table apologizing about the steak. He went to the serverās computer which was visible from our table. I was getting up to take my two kids to the restroom and he says āSHE HASNT EVEN PAID YET!ā To which I responded, āIām taking my kids to the bathroom.ā He did apologize afterwards, but you know what they say about making assumptionsā¦I would never walk out on a tab. I have worked in the service industry literally my entire life and still bartend at a restaurant in high point on weekends. The food, service, and treatment by the manager were less than acceptable.
