Experience today was subpar compared the times before of going there. Waited in line a few minutes which was perfectly fine. The lady in front of us was buying 3 slices of different flavored cakes and they all needed to be sliced. The girl behind the counter was fiddling around with things after helping her while there was a line and we were next to have our order taken which was also fine. The older lady who was the cashier called her out in front of everyone because she didn't do something right sanitation wise. I think it had something to do with when you take a lid off you put a new one on before putting cakes back. I thought it was nasty to call her out like that in front of everyone. As a mentor, you don't do that. Then when the girl turns around to take the next order, she takes the people behind us order when we were next. Not sure what was wrong with us that she skipped over us. The people behind us were rude as they didn't interrupt and say that we were in front of them and continued to order. The cashier whispered to the girl about how she skipped us and then they both chuckled. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. Will not return. Will give another bakery or the local Cupcake Cuties our business instead. Normally I would tip but I didn't leave a tip after behind treated that way. I understand accidents happen, but open your eyes and pay attention to what you are suposse to be doing, and take people's orders the way they are...
Read moreIf Willy Wonka owned a bakery this is what I would expect to see. Immediately when I walked in, I was amazed to see all the goodies they had to offer. It was overwhelming in a good way. When I let them know I was a first timer, they celebrated and made me feel so welcomed. It was an internal battle to edit my thoughts on what all I wanted to try. I live about 40 minutes away so having to decide carefully what I wanted to try the most proved to be difficult. I ended up with 3 varieties of cookies (Snickerdoodle, peanut butter and cowboy). 🍪 They had so many different cake varieties all on display in glass cake pedestals with domes. 🍰 I would guess at least a dozen. To my surprise, they sold them by the slice so I was able to get 3 different flavors (German chocolate, Oreo cookie, and honeybun). They had a large variety of confections and I ended up trying their coconut haystack. 🍭 When I was checking out I saw they had cheesecake (my kryptonite) but I already had gone overboard. I'll just have to come back next time I am in High Point. The only negative which is not fair to reflect in my rating. It's a very small parking lot shared with other businesses. Luckily I found a spot but had very little room to back out...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars, I would. I will not be supporting this business whatsoever. The owners are very rude to Instacart shoppers. They leave notes in the delivering section, saying if you cannot carry Heavy items then don’t pick up this order unfortunately you do not get to see that until after you’ve completed the order. They ordered 160 pounds of items and wanted me to go into the back to place them in the kitchen myself that is not very food health standards. Also not to mention, but I was delivering this order with my wife, and they looked at us very rudely and made some comments that were homophobic. Not to mention when I politely informed the owner that I was unable to do that because it was against Instacart policies to even come inside the home because as a previous person has mentioned on here, it has two options to either meet the customer or drop the order off at the door we are not allowed to go inside also, the owner does not pay me as their employee to bring the items into the back. Again, I would like to reiterate, I will not be giving this place. My business and the owner...
