Now let me just say I am a burger connoisseur and a High Point native who recently joined a crew working furniture market to lunch. It was a nice walk from the IHFC's bus depot to discover what looks like a little blue concession stand... or stationary food truck of your dreams. Although, I'd be lying if I said I could tell I should have known about this place from the jump from it's surrounding gravel and shrubbery. Notably, you can't get an order without the beautiful busy bee's behind the counter nicknaming you honey, sugar, sweetheart etc. which is cute to an extent. Also the wait wasn't unbearable understanding we placed a fairly large order. I recommend you grabbing a burger and disregard the menu. I stuck with my guns requesting a double cheeseburger with bacon + ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomato and struck gold. If you're a fan of an incredibly flavorful bite of beef look no further than Oscar's. Now I didn't go searching the menu for flaws so don't lean on me past their amazing burgers. Read moreMuch has changed about this business of this place. From the quality and proportions of the food to expense. If i had to grade the hospitality, they would get 10 stars. However, I disagree with the grade rating to the place. Too many places of business here in High Point, NC get way much more credit than they deserve. Invest better into your established businesses as well as rhe community it exists in. Operations should be ran in a considerable, healthy and unprocessed intent for its community. I'm just saying, $6.00 for a sandwich with no sides and no beverage. Plus after I'm done eating, I'm still hungry. Go figure! A persons money deserves better appreciation. We work too hard to gain what little we do just to give it away so easily. I apologize for singling this business out but honestly this is meant for most restaurant businesses here in...
Read moreMy 14 yr old son & I stopped by one morning to grab a quick breakfast sandwich. He had never heard of the restaurant, my co-workers have told me the food is delicious. It wasn't crowded but steady. You could tell the customers are regulars because of the personal chit chat and the quick orders that were placed. The ladies were running the kitchen & front line like "nobody business" 😄. We did ask how long has the restaurant been there and one of the ladies & one of the regular customers from Greensboro engaged us in personal chit chat. We got our sandwiches to go and was encouraged to come back. By the way, my sausage biscuit was delicious & my son ate and nodded in satisfaction!! For great food & greater atmosphere,...
