Pulling into House Springs early Saturday morning and needed to find that mystical concoction that makes my brain function and wearily pulled into this little coffee trailer across from Buchheit. The menu was a nice size with multiple choice menu with real coffee sizes in ounces not in Italian words such as venti and grande. My Italian has never been strong so I always get stumped at OTHER coffee places. So seeing their offerings in actual cup sizes was a nice change. ...Commentary: They offer a 32oz size! Is it even LEGAL to sell a 32oz caffeine infused, expresso laced beverage? Well these folks do! 32oz! 32oz!!! I pulled around to find a very kind barista standing waiting to take my order. She recognized my morning brain fog and could sense my distress of not having expresso pumping thru my veins yet and gently suggested an OTG blend. This is their own original creation. The menu also included such delightful breakfast treats such as Gooey Butter cake and muffins. The patient barista explained the vast muffin choices and I stopped her when she said one had a chocolate chips. Done and Done. My only critique would be they needed to be slightly warmed up. Next visit I'll ask for a little bit warmed up on the muffin. In the short wait at the window I was handed a cup of the magical bean juice. The OTG was a delightful mix of very flavorful coffee, caramel and marshmallow... So delicious and delightful! I opted for the 24oz size because I still am not certain of the legality of selling 32oz of expresso caffeine awesomeness but next time I need to physically run into town (on two legs and not my car!) I will try a 32oz-er! :) Prices were comparable to the stuffy Seattle based places but worth so much more because these are local folks serving up these coffee drinks. Highly recommend! (and thank you to the kind barista standing waiting to take my order!)

Yum!! They’re more expensive than Starbucks by a lot (15-20% or at least for the drinks I order) but they’re WAYYY better imo. Like I would buy their coffee beans, it’s seriously amazing. They have a rewards points system but you need to have a cash app account in order to access it. And everyone working there is sweet as pie. Would love to be able to support local and be a regular thing but for coffee + a breakfast sandwhich you’re well over $15 and that’s a bit steep. But as a special treat now and then it’s great. I’ve heard people complain about wait times but I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes, and if you don’t have 5 minutes to spare you probably need to skip the drive thru.

I came here with a co-worker today and she ordered both of us a skinny pink lotus drink. This was my first time here and I had no clue what to get. I let her order for me and she said “trust me, you’ll like it”. She was right!! It was unlike anything I’ve ever drank before. I’m eager to return and try the Ocean Drive drink. THANK YOU FOR OPENING IN House Springs!

I'm glad this place exists, it's nice to have a local option. That said, there are a few things that make me hesitate to support them.

The biggest issue for me is the setup. You have to pull right up to the window to place your order — there's no intercom or way to order ahead of time while other people’s drinks are being made. So if there’s a line, you’re just stuck waiting as they make the drinks one by one. Occasionally someone will come out with an iPad when it's really busy, but even then, the process still feels painfully slow. Even when I’m the only one there, it just seems to take forever. I haven’t timed it, but long enough that I start to wonder what’s going on. If I see a line, I just drive on by because I don’t have the time to wait.

Also… one time I ordered a cold drink with no ice (I wanted to drink it later at work after a 40 minute commute without it being watered down), and they handed me a cup that was maybe half full. Not like “a little bit of space at the top,” I mean legitimately half the cup was empty. I even turned it sideways to check. It was frustrating because other places like Starbucks or Scooters still give you a full drink when you ask for no ice — they don’t make the drink volume dependent on the ice taking up space.

So yeah, I want to like this place more. I do still stop in once in a while because it's convenient and I like supporting local, but I wish they would invest in a more efficient system — and fill drinks all the...

I was a regular here for about 1 year, until this week but unfortunately, I won't be returning. First off, I miss Amy. She was great. Always smiled, made customers feel welcomed.

The crew they have now is just a bunch of kids who have absolutely no work ethic nor common decency to their customers.

I ordered an iced Macha latte with cinnamon syrup. The gal who handed me my drink, did not say anything...was rude. I took of a drink of my iced Macha and settled at the bottom was about a half an inch of pure cane sugar. When I brought it to the window to address is, the gal who made it, instead of right off the bat apologizing and offering to remake it, began to argue stating, "well I made it and I know I didn't put sugar in it." So, that was fun. Then when I requested my drink refunded, she began arguing with me to just remake it instead of refunding me.

Sincerely hope they train their new staff on being kind to customers and basic people skills.

However, they have officially lost another customer. It appears I am not the only one who has had an issue with the new...
