My family ate at this restaurant over two weeks ago. Worst decision I ever made. We spend $40 on the buffalo chicken wraps. I live in Fort White when I got home there was no chicken it was full of lettuce tomato cheese and mayonnaise. I called up there and let them know this was the third time they had messed this up. I told him this time I wanted my food replace and I wasn’t driving that far again, so I was told that I was speaking to the owner and she told me that when I was ready they would replace my order if I kept the receipt. yesterday me and my family decided we were going to let them fix our food and try the restaurant again I waited in line get to the window a young lady was there. I tell her what it happened gave her my receipt next thing I know a gentleman comes to the door and tells me I’m a liar basically said that’s not how they do it there said that one it was two weeks overdue , which when do they put a time limit on them fixing your food. Told me that I should have kept the old food and brought it up there and told me that I was making this up. I didn’t make it up and I will never eat there again. They messed up our food didn’t even put the chicken or buffalo in the chicken wrap and they told me he was the owner and that he was glad I wasn’t going to eat at his restaurant again. This is horrible that a restaurant that messed up our food would act like that.. it wasn’t about the money to me as much as it was about the employees can answer a phone lie and then make u out to be a lair. Can’t wait for the day high springs replaces chompers for a respectable restaurant. This town don’t need any more dishonest...
Read moreI decided to go through the drive thru on opening day. The setup they have is good, and they had an employee using a handheld to take orders in line when it got backed up. The line was all the way towards main street. I waited about 20 minutes in line and about 30 minutes recieving my food, but this was expected on opening day. The menu is impressive! When the family is indecisive on what they want, try Chompers. My family ordered one teriyaki bowl, an alfredo bowl, and the gator nuggets. We were able to order such different meals from one place, which is convenient! The teriyaki bowl was delicious, the gator nuggets were addicting, but the alfredo bowl was a little bland. The sauce was a little watered down and could have used some more seasoning. The gator nuggets were cooked evenly and the grilled chicken in both bowls were nice and tender. The people were friendly and the pricing was reasonable for the food provided.
Overall, this seems to be a good establishment to the town. We...
Read moreFirst two times I went there I was impressed. Today not so much. Tried to call my order in on my way home from work and was told that they don't take phone in orders. Strange but O.K. . Went to order online, and a third part takes the orders and says it will be 45 to 50 minutes before it was ready. O.K. . Decided to order at the drive through. 3 cars ahead of me and I sat there for 20 minutes. Finally pulled up to the window and after waiting another few minutes, was told the cook was new and it would be a little while before they would take my order. I asked how long was a little while and she said it won't be long! Does that generation not use minutes to describe little while and won't be long? I just left. I'll give them one more chance. If it happens again, I'm done. It's a shame that a nice business will be run into the ground over a lack of understanding that the customer pays their salary. No...
