Serendipity Soda & Sweets — Restaurant in High Springs

We were in town camping for Halloween weekend and stopped here Thursday night. It was so good and so cool that we came back again before leaving town! Incredibly friendly staff and owners, and they did such an incredible job with what I'm sure was a huge and extensive process of remodeling and revitalizing a very old building into a beautiful and welcoming place. My only problem with my visits: trying to narrow down and make my choice for what to order! (The ice cream and cheesecake by the scoop were awesome, but don't miss out on the baked goods--we bought several to take back to our campsite with us and they didn't even make it to the next day before we ate every morsel.)

Congrats to the owners on a job very very well done, and thanks to the staff for making us feel so welcome! We will definitely make this a stop every single time we're in town and can't wait for...

Came in tonight on a Friday to try for the first time. We loved the atmosphere and antiques but it was a little chaotic. When you first walk in you order up front but with a long line it was hard to even get into the door. After waiting for maybe 10-15 minutes to order we were a little sticker shocked to see $13-$15 for a milk shake and my husband payed almost $13 for two scoops of chocolate ice cream in a cup. We have both worked in food service and are understanding of new restaurants needing to work out kinks but after ordering it took use almost 40 minutes to get our order and while it was good I just don’t know how often we will frequent at...

We had such a great time visiting Serendipity Soda & Sweets! You can just feel how much love and care the owners have poured into every detail, honoring the historic charm of the space while adding their own little touches of wonder throughout. There’s so much to see and take in, and the vibes were absolutely perfect, from the self-playing piano greeting you at the door to the nostalgic magic all around. We tried the pumpkin muffins, grabbed some homemade apple crisp to go, and of course couldn’t resist a root beer float. 10/10 all around!
