Ordered one of the daily lunch specials. 9 inch (regular) steak and cheese, small fries, and a can of soda. The fries were just the right amount of salt. The sandwich was good, but I like the steak to be less shaved/chopped. I ordered at 12:50, and it took almost 30 minutes for the food to get made. Partially, because there appears to be more orders by phone/app than ordering in person. If you don't order ahead, just be prepared to wait. There is only outdoor seating, you will want to keep this in mind when it is summer or raining. Call out for the owners, let walk ups know it will be approximately this "much" time if there are a lot of orders before them. Unless the 30 minutes is standard. I will go back again to eat here. Again, the fries were the perfect amount of salty.

This restaurant is a walk-up, with picnic tables outside for dining. They do have a restroom for customers. Everything is made fresh, and to order. Parking is street parking. We ordered a cheesesteak, adding peppers and onions. We also had a ham and provolone grinder, hot. The sandwiches had a great toast to them and were flavorful. Soda options are cans, bottles, or 2 liters. We both had fries. My husband had a small fry, which was actually quite a lot. I ordered cheese fries. Hubby thought his were a bit salty. My cheese fries were loaded with cheese and quite a large portion. We could have shared. Overall, we enjoyed our food and would come again if our travels take us this way again.

Its rare to find a good steak sandwich in FL. We were in the area and I saw them on Google maps and thought stop there for lunch. Had NO idea what I is in for and just ordered a cheese steak with onions. When I started eating i was shocked. Ive eaten at the best shops in and around Phila growing up there and this sandwich was just as good. Then my wife pointed out the Amoroso box on the front deck. Thats the key. Anyone can cook steak but the roll is always the key. So when I was done i went back in put money in the tip jar and had a great conversation with them. Super people!!!! And from Phila so they know what a sandwich is supposed be. Thank you so much!!!!!

It took a few tries but we finally got in our order before they closed/ran out for the night.

We got 3 cheesesteaks: 1 w/onions and peppers, 1 w/peppers and mushrooms, 1 w/out toppings. Total bill just under $30

They were solid working man cheesesteaks.

Gooey, no frills and hot. What more can Be asked for? The meat was thin sliced, eh beef,As it should be. No filet mignon on a cheesesteak. The cheese wasn't wiz which I also like. My guess is a provolone mix. Very gooey but not brick of cheese gooey. Toppings were a bit weak and blended in with everything else but I'll give them a pass. The bread had a decent chew and held everything together. I'm from NEPA, home of the cheesesteaks so I like to consider myself somewhat of an authority having been raised on them.

Although it won't be a regular stop for me (mostly because of my lactose intolerance), I will definitely recommend it to friends and family after a...

Y’ALL NEED TO STOP BY THIS PLACE! This place better stick around High Springs for a long time! I’m so impressed with the delicious food, kind service, and cool atmosphere. It’s the perfect hangout spot. I got a cheesesteak sub, and the portion of meat in the sandwich was so generous and literally perfect. The French fries were awesome too!! It was helpful for my group to bring our own water bottles, since all the tables are outside, and drinks aren’t included. Two tables are covered by a pavilion, and the others are in the open, so whatever the weather, there’s a perfect seat.

The owners are incredibly kind and personable. As I type this, the owner came out, talked to us, and communicated that he genuinely cared about our experience. You’ll feel like you’re at home here.

I would recommend this place so highly and can’t wait to come back...
