Heads up, the food did NOT disappoint & was almost worth the hassle. It was fresh, hot, great portions & cost what is usually expected. However, against my own wishes, I felt I needed to bring a couple of things to attention.

  1. Never patroned here but heard Jenny was here from old Wonton Palace so called (6:20 pm) to see if I could place an order ahead of time as it seemed this is a small establishment with a drive thru as an old ice cream facility. Staff said they did not have enough egg rolls for my order & asked if I'd be willing to wait. For Jenny's food, I had no issues. She asked for 40 minutes. Ok. No problem, ran an errand before heading that way (15 minute drive).

  2. Got there, parked, did not know how the pick up worked so got out of car (like previous customer had done)"& went up to window. Told them my name for order & asked if I had given them enough time. They needed more, & kindly insisted I return to vehicle to stay warm, then line up in "makeshift" drive thru & they would bring it out.

3)While trying to back up into drive thru, it was challenging to see because there were not many lights that lit up the parking lot. So I took a couple pics in hopes of sending a message to owners that even motion sensor light bulbs would help if it was a matter of cost because I felt someone may hit a person or another vehicle. After sitting & waiting for a few minutes I turned my vehicle off to save fuel, just as the white truck in front did.

4)I forgot to ask for silverware so I called again, now 7:26 pm, staff Saud they only had spoons at the time, no forks. Ok. Understand things happen.

  1. Almost 30 minutes go by & staff brings out food for customer in front, as I try to turn my vehicle back on & turn lights on, they keep backing up, then I hear a crunch. They stop & as I try to get out of my vehicle (mind you I currently have a disability) they drive away.

  2. Staff then brings my order out & apologizes for wait, explained what happened then we both try to see if any damages but again, it's not lit up well. Figured if I see damages today, ironically, I have the person's license. I'll file a report

Pulled out, called a family member to tell them what happened, it was 7:56 pm.

  1. When I finally was able to try the food, as I mentioned, it did not disappoint except for the egg rolls ( I ordered extra) they seem like they were taken out of fryer too soon as outside wrap was quite soft & soggy in some areas. Wondering if they were just trying to get us our food as fast as possible.

If owner's see this, I'd highly suggest you brighten up the parking lot somehow.

For the taste of the food & my limitations on what I can ear, I would likely go back, but it definitely won't...

Pulled up at 10:05 because they had their open sign on. I mainly wanted ice cream but hadn’t had much dinner either and was hungry as well. The lady at the window was friendly and helpful. And they let me order a dinner as well even though it seemed they were closing up, which was very nice! I ordered the sesame chicken dinner and a small ice cream. The food was very impressive! Way better than the Sesame Chicken dinner I got at Carrie Lee’s in Lake Orion last week. The chicken was tender and fresh. Good amount of chicken (not all batter!). The sauce had great flavor, as did the fried rice and egg roll (also liked their plum sauce!). I was most impressed that the egg roll was fresh. It’s hard to find a fresh egg roll nowadays for some reason at most Chinese restaurants. The ice cream was fresh, creamy, and not freezer burned at all as some reviews said. Maybe they’ve replenished since then. The lady who seems to run Snack Attack, she was also so friendly and helpful! All in all a...

Amazing frozen custard, and they have Guernsey!

We accidentally mixed up an order (same thing, except one was med, one large), and they we incredibly nice about it, and remade the large (that was mistaken for a medium) with no problem - even though we acknowledged that it was our fault.

Furthermore, we offered to pay for it, but since none of us had touched the medium cone, they told us that they freeze any "mistakes" (that haven't left their hands - nothing that a customer may have touched) and donate them to local food banks, charities, local construction guys, etc.

As someone who grew up in Milford and now owns a home and business in Highland/Milford, I love seeing this kind of work ethic, attitude, and consideration for everyone - even those who cannot afford to go there.

Awesome job guys, we will be...

An interesting little building in Highland, MI located on Highland Road (M59). Don't let the name deceive you, this place does have sweets like ice cream, but really it's more of a Chinese food restaurant! Great selection of Chinese inspired foods too at a decent price! Staff is friendly and quick! Parking can be a lil tricky at times but don't get discouraged, something will open up eventually! When your in Highland, Michigan, Snack Attack is a must try for any fan of Asian cuisine!
