Casey's — Restaurant in Highland

Ever since the last managerial change, the store has been in a slow, but sure, decline. There have been several instances when they didn't have the thing I was looking for, and I had to travel to other Casey's in other towns to get whatever that thing was (usually something from their bakery or coffee creamer).

The former manager (who now works in one of the Troy stores) once told me if they were ever out of anything that came from the kitchen, all I had to do was ask for it. He assured me his staff would accommodate my request. That is no longer the case in the Highland store. I once asked the new manager, himself, if I could get the item I was looking for, and I was turned down because the item was "frozen." They obviously weren't in a hurry to get the item out of the freezer, either. I went elsewhere to get it.

I've made complaints about the unavailability of the things I've been looking for, and the response has been minimal, if at all. I've been told I'm not a "real" customer, despite my money being as real any anyone else's. I've been brushed off with an eyeroll and an "ok." And I've been flat out ignored.

This place used to be awesome. Now it is not. I know the manager, and maybe that's why I'm not taken seriously... but that shouldn't matter. The level of professionalism is dismal. Much of the staff is the same as it was under the former manager. Under different leadership, they were friendly and effective. These days a bad, indifferent attitude seems to be contagious and has taken over the staff...

Never open on time never have food out during breakfast or lunches..employees outside smoking but store still closed..430 am..Second weekend 30 min past opening same employee outside smoking same assisting management there late allowing this..outside employee extremely rude.we spend on average 80 to 100 daily at casey to and from work but will be taking my hard earned dollars to moto mart from now on..it's not ok for an employee to talk to anyone the way ..this store has seriously declined the past few years..and the donuts what is happening in your donut case and food quality all went down hill kitchen staff behind counter with pizza doungh in hands hair all down walkig right back into kitchen with that dough and made a pizze not real sanitary..these employees need serious retraining...

I came in last night for dinner I didn't order my pizza ahead but I asked if I could a cheese pizza . The gentleman in the back said yes of course what would you like? He was very nice and polite. I was told about 10 minutes. I pumped my gas and was waiting in my car and river came out and delivered it you me. WOW I said I didn't expect that. Thank you. Casey's tonight did a wonderful job. I just wish I knew the pizza man's name that made my pizza to...
