Okay. 2nd time ordering from this location since you recently opened. The 1st time I left without my drinks that were ordered. (I didn’t place order. Knew nothing about drinks). Today order was placed. When I went to the front hostess counter, I had to wait to be greeted because the hostess and a server were having a conversation. I am the type of person that will wait to be greeted, but when it hits the 20 to 30 second mark, I am going to interrupt and let them know I am waiting. My ticket # was 114. If you look at my receipt, I highlighted what was missing, and what was not completed on our order. Again. Hostess let me leave without my drinks. Luckily, I caught it on the receipt and walked back to counter and asked for my drinks. I love Corky’s. I get that new locations have bugs to work out. But this location has been here for maybe 3 months now. The food is always top notch, but the breakdown, in communication needs to be addressed. Never once had an issue with the Corky’s in Yucaipa. Not once. Order was followed to the tee. This location is in a prime area. If you don’t get your kitchen and front counter on the same page, you are going to continue to have issues with your orders for pick up. It sucks when you place the order. Read moreTERRIBLY DISAPPOINTING! I frequent the Corky's in Rialto, CA and the food and staff are always great. SADLY, this is not true for the Highland location. I entered the restaurant at 9pm there were three female workers rearranging the refrigerator behind the registers and not one of them acknowledged me. As soon as a customer who needed to pay their bill approached the helped them immediately. I continued to stand there while other customers were helped. Eight minutes went by and still no one acknowledged my presence. Just as I tried to get one of the three female workers attention the phone rang and they rushed to answer it. Three more minutes went by and still no acknowledgement. I approached the worker on the phone and when she finished her phone call, she assisted me. I finally get my take out order and while I was still in Corky's parking lot, I sampled my meatloaf. AGAIN TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTING! My $28.00 order was C O L D! Read moreSo this Corey's has only been open for about 6 months. In that time in the local area, it has earned the reputation of having great servers and staff, but poor food. Still, I chose to try it today, the staff and servers, especially Scarlett, were wonderful and attentive, including management, however the food was not. I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast, steak medium, eggs over medium, with home fries. What I received was eggs with shells in them, a blue rare steak, and my home fries had spinach from someone else's order in them. The manager did offer to remake everything, but I have eaten alot worse and do not like to waste food, so I ate it, the manager did reduce the cost of my meal, against my wishes, but again she was wonderful too. I highly suggest that the line cooks be retrained and reminded of their duties. Yes, it was busy, yes it was handled by the manager, but once a reputation has been earned it is rare to be able to change it. Please take the time to fix yours now.
