Really solid Mexican food and a friendly staff. Eating my way around Socal always afforded me the opportunity to try some of the best tacos and burritos you can find and this place just adds to the list. You walk in the door of this small, intimate restaurant located in a small strip mall and you immediately are blasted with bright colors and music. The staff only help the vibe by being friendly and very helpful and you get to watch them work through the giant window overlooking the kitchen. My son and I had to try the delicious-looking cheese fries and a round of various tacos as well a chile relleno burrito and a bean and cheese burrito. The cheese fries were good. The fries were fluffy, hot and crispy and we're soaked in beautiful-looking cheese sauce (I don't care what Gordon Ramsay says about "fake" cheese. When it's legit, it's legit and this is legit) The tacos were a little up and down with the cabeza and potato being my favorite out of the carnitas and fish tacos we tried. To be fair, the fish taco had a great taste, but was mushy and didn't invoke beach vibes, so I had to ding it. The bean and cheese burrito was on point and the Chile relleno burrito had a cohesive flavor I hadn't experienced before in a burrito like that. The relleno was the star and it performed. Probably the only time where a relleno burrito made me want to get just the chile relleno to try. Verde salsa was great and the red was decent (tastes like El Pato) and I'm sad to say the guacamole, unsure if it's a guac sauce or actual guacamole, was awful. It's free at least, but mine ended up in the trash after one bite. The food we had here makes me want to come back and try the shrimp burritos and possibly the birria. The staff is friendly and attentive and made the place very welcoming. Anytime my picky eater 4-year-old son finds something from a restaurant that he raves about, like he did the cheese fries, I know we made the right choice somewhere. Check...
Read moreI can not give you a bad review because your food is great and that is what matters the most in a food place, however my biggest gripe is your salsa policy, 10 salsa max, no exceptions, what does that mean ? 10 salsa per what ? I spent $100 on food and the lady behind the counter could not give more salsa if I do not buy it. If I order 100 tacos in one order then how many salsa do I get and if I place 100 orders of 1 taco each then how many salsa do I get ? Please bring logic to everyday business 🙏, I am a local business owner myself and I love supporting other local businesses but principles also matter. I will still continue to support your business because of the food and I would suggest that SALSA can not be your biggest expense on a $18 special quesidilla that I get so please pick...
Read moreThis place happens to be less than a mile from my house. I've seen it before but never bothered to go in and check it out for myself. Today I finally decided to check it out and I have no regrets. First off we were greeted with nothing but friendliness, and that to me goes a long way. Then because it was our first time there we were asking a lot of questions about items on the menu and the guy at the counter was very informative. The food was really good and the overall experience was great. Another thing to add is that they used to be in one suite in that building but they've now expanded to two conjoined suites which means they now have a pretty big dining area where as before they were more of a walk in and order to go. Give this place a chance if you haven't...
