Okay, I never went to management over the weird food incident last mo where some employee put a weird looking mashed potato n what looked like they messed with our food? but this last time....I got my son and a friend chicken sands and we went to eat them in the shade nearby only to discover how sloppy they were slapped together! Just disgusted!
Since last I posted about this, the Popeye's upper management talked to the manager and I was suppose to get our meals replaced but it was like pulling teeth! This guy was so rude to me, I was embarrassed in front of a friend that went with me. In addition to the two replacement orders, I ordered two other chicken sands. We went to get gas next door and noticed that our order was once again, just slapped together with little regard but this time they omitted any and all pickles? I couldn't believe it! No, not not a one! So I drove back in line and we were informed by someone who said she was the manager that they knew they didn't have pickles when I had gone through for the replacement order, plus the other sands just minutes. before. Apparently the pickle truck was on it's way to deliver. She also gave us a code to replace them, when the other manager chimed in and reassured us they'd replace my order next time. Well, when we returned a couple days later, their was another manager who was way more rude, acting like we were bums or deadbeats trying mooch free food. He also had an accent. I'm diabetic and he made me settle for some stupid, wrong replacement order that wasn't 4 chicken sands and sides, and now reduced to one? plus some rice with beans I didn't want at all. This establishment needs to treat customers with more respect and dignity than this and pay attention to making our food right. When I called to try to once again settle this I couldn't even tell what manager I was talking to because they both have such...
Read moreWe came to buy lunch for the crew at 11:20am 10/31/24. I approached the counter to order our food and a neardy looking white boy working the drive thru wearing a hat says we HAVE to order our food from the kiosk. I told him I didn't want to use the kiosk. I asked if he could take our order and he said NO! I asked if I didn't use the kiosk would he take our order and serve us? He said NO with an attitude! I don't know if he was on his period? I said ok thank you, you just lost a customer. Then a guy looked to be from Guiana or India said he'd help us. I asked you'll take our order? He said yeah, just order from the kiosk. I laughed and sarted walking out. Then he raised his voice saying he would take our order at the counter. It was too late. I laughed walked out and took our business down the street to BAKERS. The employees at Bakers have exceptional customer service! We placed our large order at the COUNTER paid our $175 order and walked out happy. I dont know if the $20 dollars an hour got to these fast food workers head or they are just plain stupid. I'm trying to save their jobs by ordering at the counter and not deal with kiosk. I will never step food into this Popeyes restaurant and neither should you!
To the (Owner) stop apologizing and just bring back some type of customer service to your establishment. Get rid of the idiot employee you have and hire one with a better attitude that will make you money! Customers do not want to be treat in that manner let alone order from a kiosk.
Take your employees on a field trip down the street to Bakers so they may learn a thing or two about customer service and the importance of it!
Also stop posting generic response that other restaurants use when they receive a negative review. Be real with your customers.
I will never step foot into your...
Read moreOn a Monday, I decided to order food using an app called Yelp. After completing my order and making the payment, I noticed that the app did not prompt me to enter my name; instead, it only provided me with the order details. I assumed that when I arrived at Popeyes, I could simply show them this order detail to collect my food.
Once I received the notification that my order was ready, I headed into Popeyes to pick it up. Upon entering, I was greeted by an older lady with long hair who asked if I was there for a pick-up. I affirmed her question and showed her my order details. However, she informed me that I needed to provide a name, even though I had only received the order detail from the app.
I tried to explain that the app never prompted me to enter my name and that all I had were the order details. Despite my explanation, she insisted that I needed to present a name as shown in the app. I attempted to show her the details once again, but she refused to hand over the food.
This led to a frustrating back-and-forth conversation in which I reiterated that the app did not request my name. Ultimately, she went to check the pickup bag, and when she found one with the name I had mentioned, she finally handed it to me—but did so with an attitude. I was left feeling quite frustrated, as it seemed unreasonable to require a name when my order details clearly indicated that I had placed the order. Even after sharing my name with her, she still insisted on seeing it on the order details, which left me feeling quite unhappy with the entire...
