The Fix has never disappointed even though the food cost is priced high compared to what you get but at least it is tasty. They have live music which has always been entertaining and fun. Where the rubber has met the road with me was the ridiculous pricing for their alcohol beverages. These prices make absolutely no sense. I did try to express this to a manager after I received the bill but was met with an impolite manner that escalated the situation versus knowing how to handle a sensitive situation. As an x restaurant owner 24 yrs I understand how hard it can be to know when to push, when to listen and then how to navigate different and difficult situations to have an end result that puts everyone at ease and keeps the importance of the bigger picture first and foremost in mind. I will not support a business any business by spending more money by getting these drinks with these kinds of ridiculous prices. I recommend having all or a few drinks at home before you go!! This will effect there bottom line but for some reason they are ok with this as the owner did express this. Pricing for a 3 liquor drink at $14, LIT $17 and well drinks $11 to $14. If you are ok spending that kind of price for these drinks then go for it. As for me and others that I’ve talked to about this. In having to pay 2 to almost 3 times the cost for these kinds of drinks is just wrong. If you think so then please tell the owner/management. As a consumer it’s your responsibility to let an owner know these things first hand so they can understand that their choice is affecting your experience at their business in a negative way. We are the ones that have the power to draw the line in the sand and say enough is enough. I did find out that these owners in this area met to set these kinds of prices for these drinks. Trying to keep the pricing structure for these drinks the same in this area 🤔. It appears to be a problem not only at The Fix but this area. I will say that the first owner that reduces these prices to more of a reasonable amount and advertise it will do very very well!!! Instead of having having 1 drink and done but having a few to enjoy more of what is being offered. Note, The Fix has first dibs. I 100% enjoy spending lots of money in having a great time when it makes sense. If these owners are paying higher taxes to justify these kinds of drink cost because the prices on these liquor bottles have not changed then it’s up to these owners in this area to go to their respective and take things into their own hands. By telling them enough is enough. Even if they are paying a little more in taxes it doesn’t justify that kind of jump in that price point. I would hate for The Fix and or other business to pay that ultimate price with such a backlash from consumers that it could affect their bottom line and longevity. Change is coming what it will be is up to us as consumers and them as owners. For me my line in the sand is now firmly in place. With a silver lining that I will have even more money to spend elsewhere on things that...
Read moreWe are here on vacation. Read that the food was good here so we stopped in. As of right now we have been sitting here for an hour and a half. The bartender has literally ran at least 5 couples off before even getting their drink order from being extremely rude to customers. When we’re were seated, a very nice woman from the kitchen got our drink order. After 45 minutes, my wife asked the bar tender if our waitress may have forgotten about us since we were in the back room out of line of sight for the cook that was filling in for the waitress. The bartender was very rude and told my wife that she could sit down and be patient. The wife was being very respectful and just politely asking if we were forgotten.
So as I have sat here writing this review, the rude bartender has ran off another elderly couple and a nice family of four.
I have never witnessed such rudeness and unprofessional conduct in a place of business. I also do not give bad reviews for no reason like many do these days, but this is behavior in a place of business is absolutely unacceptable, especially in what I was told is a family friendly environment when we walked in.
We are going on an hour and 45 minutes, I was going to wait to submit the review until we at least tasted the food but at this point there is nothing that could make this experience better than one star. If my kids were not here waiting on food and anything was very close by, we would have already walked out. For anyone in management that might care, the waitress is the rude brunette wearing glasses.
Decided to hold off before submitting this review. Food pretty good but not worth the cost. $28 for steak nachos.
Just watched the bartender push out another couple...
Read moreThe fix used to be the go to place. I preferred it over any of the other restaurants in the area. Lately I’ve been very disappointed with the fix and after tonight I’ve decided I will not be spending another penny here after multiple bad experiences.
A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I came to the the fix after work and sat at the bar. The bartender was busy with other costumers which we understood and patiently waited to be acknowledged. After she greeted us and told us she’d be with us shortly we had been sitting there for quite some time and she then went out of the bar to go and talk to her friends off to the side.
I had to go up to her and ask her for a menu and to order a few drinks… while we were asking for our bill I asked for a to-go box, MULTIPLE times and was never given one, my boyfriend had to go and grab me one himself. Mind you, the place wasn’t busy at all. I couldn’t believe it, I’ve never had such bad service in my life.
We decided to give it a try again tonight, as it was the only place open to get food after getting out of work and was once again disappointed. It took so long to get our drinks, I ordered an espresso martini and it taste like watered down coffee, didn’t taste any alcohol, there goes $18 down the drain. They then went around the restaurant giving everyone their checks without them even being asked for, we asked the server helping us out for another drink and he told us “we’re cutting it close” and didn’t give us another drink. (I’m guessing they wanted to close up) BUT THEN, new people were walking in and they were serving them...
