Panda Cafe — Restaurant in Hillcrest Heights

I was referred to Panda Cafe (PC) in Temple Hills MD by my oldest son THIS REVIEW IS FOR THAT PC ONLY. My family and I have been getting food from here over 2.5 yrs now. Here are my key factors of why we return: 1. Courteous staff both on phone & in-person they know my voice so they say my name when I call 2. Food hot upon delivery arrival & pick-up and its DELICIOUS. My 10 yr old son loves their chicken tenders, lemonades & lemon pepper & other flavor wings and he is VERY PICKY HE ASK CAN WE ORDER PC on carry out days. 3. Cleanliness inside (although I only been in twice when my oldest son picked up orders) floors & counter were clean & no foul mop smell only delicious food aromas 4. Reasonable prices for this area of PG County 5. The one time their was a misunderstanding they went above and beyond to ensure it was resolved. They called & even texted me to get it right THATS DEDICATION TO RESOLVE ANY CONFLICT. I appreciate the customer service for sure. And finally I am vegan now yet prior I did have their lemon pepper wings, General Tso (gtso) & Sesame Chicken, BOMB🥰 (FH-fried hard) and the Shrimp Lo Mein & Shrimp basket also good. Now that I am vegan I order their vegan options made w tofu of some of those dishes. I like mine FH and they do so. Anything they make regular I have had the opportunity for them to make it special if it's not on the menu. Therefore by request I get my sesame tofu instead of chicken etc. So if you have any reservations about ordering remove the doubt and try them out. If you like crispy fries or chicken request it that way FH. Vegan/Vegetarian in your family? They can order too. You have not because you ask not. Very Very poor service, don't waste your money with this company, i placed an order online and repeatedly tried to call the restaurant in order to check the status of my online placed order before I arrived to pay and pick it up, my calls were repeatedly hung up on, the person at the phone just picked up the phone and slammed it back into the reciever, when I finally went to pay for my order the lady at the front was very mean and rude. When I ate my food I noticed that certain ingredients appeared to look different than what they regularly would .(although I should have reconsidered my meal I didn't because that would be a waste of $15 and i did not feel like disputing a refund with the lady, as i knew it would be a difficult task to begin with, and i was hungry,). I live right down the street from the place, later that day i started having extreme stomach convulsions and couldn't stop vomiting everything that I ate that day. Wicked wicked people! their day of reckoning with karma as well as the department of health is...

This is literally some of the best Chinese food Ive ever had and I’ve been all over. SF and NY. Is there better Chinese food out there? Honestly, this place seriously makes that debatable. Idk much about their steak and cheese or other American BS but the Chinese is LEGIT. The white rice is literally perfect. And anything with a brown sauce gives NY and SF a run for their money. The shrimp with broccoli is about as good as you can get. The egg rolls are fine. Admittedly, they are not the best I’ve ever had but they are good. The lo mein, brown sauce and white rice, tho, are what keep me coming back. My god, man. So good. Also, dem wings. Do urself a flavor favor and get some of the sweet red chili wings over fried rice. You literally may not have a better meal in your life....
