I’ve ordered take-out pupusas numerous times & always had a good experience; always with one particular older female who has always been exceptional despite the language barrier. Unfortunately, Sunday, my family & I decided to dine in (she wasn’t there) & had the worst dining experience ever! Being that my husband is of Hispanic race himself, there was no reason for any language misunderstandings. First off, we waited a long time for our drinks; mostly water with 3-4 pieces of tiny ice cubes floating on top. My husband finally got his water when food was served; no ice, had to wait another 15 min or so for 5 tiny ice cubes. Amazing authentic Guatemalan dishes at very reasonable prices, and a really friendly staff. We had the garnachas, rellenitos, pupusas con puerco y queso, and the paches. If nothing else, go and have one of these ridiculously exquisite soft steamed-in-a-banana-leaf tamale-style wonderments!! Incredible food, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back...

Negative - chiles rellenos, beans and rice. Barely any meat on the chiles rellenos and they lacked flavor. The rice was very plain and had no added veggies like the traditional Guatemalan rice. The beans, not sure how you can mess these up but they did. I’m not sure if they added something or if something was missing but they were not right. Overall...
