Jamie the manager accused my 8 year old of destroying merchandise. When I proved to her my daughter didn’t do such thing, she proceeded to kick me out of the store. She didn’t apologize for wrongfully accusing my daughter. I just hope corporate can pull surveillance footage of the incident. I did use my phone to record her interaction with me ! Jamie tried to slap the phone out of my hand. I only started recording because she was yelling so loud that several customers came to the front of the store. I had a customer give me her information in case I needed a statement from her. I hope no other customers have to go through what I went through today. Jamie needs to find another job if she doesn’t like customer service or she needs some serious retraining. Perhaps it was racism!! I have attached pictures , she accused my daughter of taking stuffing out of a pumpkin. The pumpkin had no stuffing to begin with! The stuff on the table belonged to something else and it literally was the size of two cotton balls! But it was easier to kick me out of the store instead of apologizing for her mistake ! Do better Burlington hire better managers! Again there was no rips or tears to cause the stuffing...
Read moreUNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL I have never experienced something like this while shopping. The customer service was extremely poor. There was only one cashier working, with a long line of about eight customers waiting. While ringing people up, the cashier was eating chicken nuggets that another associate had just handed him — in front of customers — and then continued touching merchandise and removing sensor tags without washing his hands.
The same associate who brought the food then stood around chatting about McDonald’s instead of helping with the line. A customer even abandoned their purchase and left because of how long it was taking. Eventually, the second associate jumped on to help, but before ringing me up, he popped a piece of gum into his mouth right in front of me.
This was unprofessional, unsanitary, and disrespectful to the customers waiting. Eating and chewing gum at the register while handling customer purchases is unacceptable. I won’t be returning to...
Read moreThis Burlington is one of the better in OR and WA. However, they had no restroom. I had to go to Old Navy to relieve myself, so I could concentrate on what I needed at Burlington. So, three stars off top for that. Also, I found it incredibly odd that once I came through the doors. They had an associate standing there, who had to lift a rope to let you into the store completely. This was the same procedure when trying to exit the store. I have been to some Burlington Coat Factories in San Diego that are located in the hood and never once experienced this scenario. This...
