The Hillsboro Liquor store in its newer location (used to be next to Hanks) is a very good store. It's not a BevMo style place. It's reasonably sized and well organized. The bottles are arranged by type of spirit and brand. It's very easy to compare different types of bourbon for example, because there are several brands in the same area. You can compare proof or Price or size very quickly without confusion. I did notice all the smaller bottles are on some shelves behind the counter. But it actually makes it very convenient to just ask for the type of liquor you want in that smaller size when you're checking out. There always seems to be plenty of staff to answer any questions. I have never felt silly or stupid when I asked a question that I had been afraid was obvious to everyone but me. On my last visit, I noticed an employee was assisting a shopper in a wheelchair. I was very glad to see how much effort the employee put into ensuring the person had a good shopping experience. I highly recommend this liquor-store. Luke is amazingly knowledgeable and always helpful along with all the rest of the staff always friendly always there to help if necessary and answer any questions to point you in the right direction or what you really want never been disappointed ..update (7-12-22) they now have a HUGE walk-in collar and multiple other coolers they just keep expanding.
