Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Hillsboro

Today I went to order my kid a lunch to drop off at school. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a French fry. When I got to the window I paid the lady $9.50 and grabbed the food. I stopped to check the bag and there was no fresh so I reversed my car to the window to ask the lady. She said well I didn't hear you say that!!! Not my problem kinda attitude. I said ok well I don't have the receipt did you give me one?? She said idk. I looked and couldn't find the receipt so I take it she didn't give me the receipt. Anyways I didn't have time to argue with her I needed to drop off his lunch before it was too late. This was a lady prob in her 50's or 60's that took my order today. She had no care in the world about trying to help me. The order was a small fry btw. Prob wouldn't have taken her long to go get. I bet they had some already made. Missing food - missing receipt

They forgot to include the cheeseburger I ordered for my toddler. I didn't find out until I got home. When I called, they asked me if I had a receipt to prove it, at which point I realized they never gave me one of those either.

The person I spoke with wanted me to come back in and pick it up.

I explained it was a 10 minute drive, 20 round trip, and that I wasn't going to come back in because I now had to make my toddler food and get her down for a nap. At that point, the employee decided it was OK for me to pick up the burger at a later date. Gee, thanks.

As I was driving along TV Hwy, I thought that a good burger would be great...and lo and behold! Carl's Jr was in sight and I made that left turn - to get the best burger I've had in a very long time. Both gentlemen at the counter were super nice, one shared that I could have 2 for an xtra $1! Yes, please. The lady who was lovingly preparing my order is new, only her 4th day (they apologized for the wait, but there wasn't a wait, the screen was full of orders) Anyhow, the lady truly assembled my meal as if she was plating dinner at home, and it tasted like it! I hope she never loses that talent. Burger looked like the pictures, tasted like fresh from the BBQ. I drive by there often but usually eat at home. I might change things up a bit going forward.
