Poke delight — Restaurant in Hillsboro

I was trying to place an online order for the Glisan Street location. Unfortunately, I missed the fine print that said my order would be sent to the Hillsboro location instead. I realized this immediately after receiving the confirmation and saw that the pickup location was almost nineteen miles away.

I called the Hillsboro store right away. The employee I spoke with said he could send my order to a Portland location. I explained that I needed the Glisan Street location because I was staying near the airport. He told me he did not speak English well and had sent me a text with a picture of the location where I could pick up my order. After hanging up and checking the text, I saw that the location he sent was not close to where I was staying.

I called back and asked for the order to be cancelled. He said it would be. I also replied to the text asking for confirmation that the cancellation had gone through. The next morning, I saw that the charge for the order had still gone through.

I am posting this review in hopes of getting this resolved. I will gladly remove it once the issue is addressed. This situation has nothing to do with the quality of your food. I love poke bowls and as a new frequent traveler to the area, I was really looking forward to trying your restaurant.

If you’re looking for a place that combines delicious food with a welcoming atmosphere, Poke Delight is the spot to visit. I enjoyed the fresh ingredients and being able to experiment with the variety of toppings and sauces. I asked to have the tofu tossed in the unagi sauce and it was delicious! We also tried the burrito as we’ve never seen poke done this way before and we loved it.

I love a good poke bowl and stopped in to give Poke Delight a try. I ordered a large half salad and half rice bowl with spicy tuna and spicy salmon. I added most of the toppings and everything was delicious! They were generous with the fillings and the fish was fresh. Price is comparable to other poke spots and service was fast and friendly.
