Omg so much wrong the music was so loud our waitress even had trouble hearing us order. The waitress couldn’t communicate in English she had to get several people to help us out when our order was made wrong. The salad we ordered came with sour cream not ranch had to ask repeatedly to get ranch from different waiters till finally a younger kid got it to us. The street tacos are the worst I’ve ever had in a restaurant. I ordered two lengua and two chorizo the corn tortillas were cold and one of them broke off like it was old. The tacos also had a onions piled high with a dust of cilantro. Every street taco we’ve ever eaten from serves meat with warm tortillas and these literally tasted like store bought packaged corn tortillas. No lime no sauces other than the bottled tapatio & other bottled hot sauces on the table offered. It was disappointing. The chips for the chips and salsa were hard. We ordered two orders of nachos one chicken the other birria and they were subpar it’s like the cooks just didn’t care. It’s a shame too because we used to frequent this location before the remodel and when they were off tv hwy near Beaverton by the old 7-11 that got torn down. It was a waste of a trip. One of the waiters apologized as my father in law paid for the meal again for messing up the chicken nachos which was nice but that’s about it. It seems this establishment is more for people to come drink at alcoholic beverages but if you’re looking to bring family and actually have a conversation this place isn’t it. Not to mention if you can’t have people that speak a little bit of english you’re not being inclusive to non Spanish speakers and that’s just wrong every time we needed something anyone passing by just smiled and said something to find the one or two guys that did speak English to help us out and they weren’t always around. We were never offered water with our beverages and those of us that had other beverages like Jamaica were never offered refills it was just awful. Some of us sat there with our dirty plates and no one came by to pick them up or anything like I said this place isn’t the same I don’t know what...
Read moreFirst the pros: -Carne asada was tasty -tacos are tasty -They make you feel special on your birthday -The staff are nice
The cons: -a virgin margarita is the same price as a regular margarita and they give you 1 shot on the side for $9 -could have been a staffing issue but we had to get up and go hunt down boxes and our tickets -we went as a party of 20 today. They wanted us to pay “half the estimated costs” to reserve an area and then apply that to our tab. Only problem is this was for my birthday and lots of different tabs/families coming. I called them days ago and then again today to give them the heads up because it’s Cinco De Mayo. Turns out they weren’t that busy anyway and it was no big deal but they made us feel a bit unwelcome and like we were somehow inconveniencing them. We never did do 1 giant check. That was silly. -this place is expensive for the quality and service. They’re very nice here but next time I’ll go to a different establishment. -I got charged for an extra margarita we never ordered or received and had to spend 5 minutes explaining why I needed to be refunded before they finally did it. With a large party it was automatically 18% gratuity so $10.60 with tip for one margarita-virgin or not.
I think for a casual family dinner maybe they’re okay if your expectations are realistic but for all the good reviews we were definitely expecting better. The common consensus of the 20 of us that went tonight is that we...
Read moreFood was pretty good but the service really lacked. We had Aaron say he was our waiter but after taking our order he didn’t come back unless we stopped him when passing by which leads to a lower rating on service. Had to ask for a hotter salsa, had to ask for more salsa then ask for more chips, had to ask for straws. We asked for lemon in our water and he brought us slices of limes and charged us $1, a little odd and unexpected but ok. I didn’t expect my burrito to come wrapped in foil, made it seem more like a lunch burrito you order off a lunch truck, didn’t feel like we were ordering a dinner plate.
If you look at my plate the burrito it quit large, I wish they put the burrito on a larger plate so I could manage it better while cutting into it.
Needed more salsa to pour some on my burrito but no one available. Wife got something she didn’t expect but no one available.
Saw Aaron and signaled for the check although he nodded yes he was extremely busy with others, serving things and getting more orders from new patrons. Fortunately the girl greeting saw us as I hand signaled for the check and closed us out.
The robot they have delivering food to the table to wait for a server to hand place is insanely futuristic and amazing, but don’t think we would come back to this place with the poor server we received.
Cannot recommend this place but it is extremely busy so they must be doing...
