So...This is right next door to a Taco Bell. I don't know if Taco Bell ever steals their business, but I always see a line over there, and not at Javier's, and I don't know why. I will admit, these are two different worlds next to each other, so maybe that is the explanation. And don't get me wrong, I love a good crunchy taco from Taco Bell.
But Javier's food is out of this world. Both the quality of food and the freshness is absolutely stunning. The speed of service makes this a weekly go-to for lunch for me and my crew. We have had a lot of items from their menu and, to be extra gringo, my favorites are the burritos and tacos. Specifically, the chicken asado burrito, and the crispy ground beef tacos.
Every time I have gotten food from this restaurant, the quality is ALWAYS 5 stars. It has never changed. The drive-thru and the front-counter folks are the friendliest people in the world. Inside they have a salsa bar, and their salsas are perfect.
They have an extensive menu of items, and even have American food items if you have anyone with you that prefers that. Whenever we visit, it is never too busy, there are never any lines. We arrive, we order, and we leave, generally within 20 minutes or less. The fastest was 10 minutes! And the food was still exceptional.
I won't say that I won't go to a Taco Bell, but I definitely won't go to the one next door. If I'm in the area and have a craving, I'll ALWAYS stop at...
Read moreThe place doesnt seem like much from the outside as they made it from a wendys to a Mexican food place. But the food is good for a good deal. Wish they had bigger containers to hold more sauces and everything seemed like you have to buy individually which pushed the price a little more. The reason for a 1 star less is the front counter lady, she was nice and all and I gave her a big tip in cash hoping she would give great service to me. After we got our food my daughter wanted a toy out of the quarter machine. It took .50 cents for this 1 thing she had to have and nothing came out. I asked her about it she couldnt understand and had to speak Spanish to another customer to tell me it was broken. I asked why dont she have a sign on it that it doesnt work? She just shook her head, i then asked to have my .50 cents back as it took my daughters money. She shook her head again like she cant do that. So the man who she was talking to gave my daughter .50 for what she lost. To get something out of the other machine that was working. Saddly it had to come down to .50 cents for a star less but its customer service that people go to these places to get. We pay more money to get tacos rather then going to tacobell thats right next door to this place you would think you would have more...
Read moreOrdered from Uber Eats and they completely messed up our order. The order was two tortas and asada fries but they gave us small size quesadillas with asada and no fries. Called the store and a lady picked up the phone talking with her co worker about it saying they did pack it... I kept trying to ask if there was anything they could do and she said no. Not even a apology or wanting to make it right. Told us to contact Uber so we did and the driver Christopher also said it was not his fault. Fine that’s fair and he said he would be willing to bring it back which made up for the other two employees at Javier’s Taco. After an hour waiting nothing arrived nor did the driver ever contact us. If I could give a zero I would. Neither party...
