Grocery Outlet — Local services in Hillsboro

A terrible location and experience. I was charged twice by them. I went and told the cashier I was charged twice from shopping on Sunday and showed the receipt and double charge on my bank account. I was told to come back tomorrow when the manager is onsite. This location is 20 minutes from me. I asked for the phone number to contact the manager and was told the number was on Google.

I call the number for the store on Google and explain I was overcharged. I get told to come in and bring the receipt. I told the worker I already did that and was told to come in another time. I asked for the manager’s phone number or when they would be in next and was told “I can’t give you that information.”

So I’m expected to just continually drive 20 mins until I get lucky enough to be there when the “manager” is?!

Absolutely ridiculous. I’ve reported a fraudulent charge to my bank and will never shop at this Grocery Outlet again. I would recommend going to the location on 185th. The store is actually clean, has good selections, and the employees are actually nice...

I’ve been to this story location my fair share of times, alone and with my children and have had no issues until today. One of my kids and I went in with the intention of using the restroom and to grab a drink and snacks, something we’ve done often. Today my kid had a backpack, something that different children have done. But today we were approached aggressively and as if we were doing something horribly wrong, because said kid had a backpack. My child waited for me and I asked another employee about the rest room, she was barely polite and when I left the restroom, she was waiting for me. I did ask if they normally waited for people outside of the bathroom like that I was told “yes”. I can tell you from past experiences, that they don’t. I did speak to a manager, but it’s not enough. I understand it’s a rougher area, but to be racially profiled and treated with hostility and suspicion, that’s what’s NOT ok. I have been shopping at Grocery Outlet since it was called The Canned Food Warehouse in Beaverton 35 years ago? I like stopping at different locations in different cities in Oregon and seeking what treasures i can find as I recreate around Oregon on the weekends. I have also been to the Hillsboro location on many times. I was there this past Saturday and as I was wandering looking for snacks for lunch and treasures to take home I noticed this irritating thumping noise. I thought I either next to a automotive detail shop or some one was sanding with an industrial sander on the roof. Needless to say instead of doing more shopping I took what I head and headed for the register. imagine to my surprise when I noticed that the annoying thumping noise that was ruing my shopping experience was come from some type of Bass producing speaker that they had set up on one of the end caps for some bizarre reason. One has to wonder who are you catering too? People that have the money to spend on groceries or are you trying to drive us out...
