So, I know that the restaurant is not responsible for UberEats. However, they contract with them so they bare some of the responsibility. When I owned a restaurant for 7 years we used delivery services and if one of them made a mistake in the delivery, I as the owner might not have been directly responsible but if the delivery service messes up that is a reflection on my business and if I want to retain the customer I did everything in my power to fix it. Without a doubt I always replaced the order and usually gave them a 25 dollar gift to make up for the bad experience. As the owner, I then had more power and leverage to call the delivery company and complain about what just happened and I always did and that lead to some action being taken. Otherwise, no one is held accountable. We did call Hiroshi sushi but they said call UberEats and in the end we didn't get our food or a credit. My full story is below!!!
My wife and I never use delivery apps, but we have a 19-month-old child, and my wife just had surgery, so our friends got us UberEats gift cards so we wouldn't have to worry about cooking dinner. We ordered 137 dollars worth of sushi. That might sound like a lot, but it isn't when you factor in tips and all the fees. The only problem is we never received the order. The driver said it was delivered and took a picture, but it wasn't our address, which should have been evident since our townhome number is 3C and not 2C, which is apparent in the image. After getting no place via the chat function in the app, I finally called customer service, and to say they didn't care would be an understatement. Their preprogrammed response to me saying I didn't get my food wasn't "Oh so sorry, let us replace it for you" or "OMG, that is horrible, let me have give you a credit."Nope, it was, "According to our GPS tracking, the driver delivered the food to a close enough drop-off zone." I explained to them I had no food and that I didn't know where 2C was because we live among many townhomes that have 2C as an address, and it was 8 degrees outside and -1 with windchill, so I wasn't going to wander around in the dark to find it. Again, they reiterated that they were sorry, but the driver was close enough, so we can't give you a refund or replacement. I owned a restaurant for 7 years and used delivery services, and I was appalled that after speaking with a few people, it was perfectly acceptable that the driver dropped my food at the wrong address, but it was close enough, and they were made aware I had no food and did nothing about it. So, I was out a 137 dollars, and hungry. After some careful digging around, I realized that in the app, my address had the location with 3C, but on the receipt, it omitted the 3C from the address. So I called back to explain it, and they sort of acknowledged it but then said the driver got close enough, according to their tracker, and won't do...

I discovered this wonderful Japanese restaurant on my way back from a long trip. Came here with a party of 13 and ordered a lot of food. However, the chef still managed to keep their fast pace and the food came out really quick.
The half-cooked salmon and tuna were amazing. The salmon was fresh, and the bit of sauce the chef added just had a good kick in taste.
The raw salmon. No comment needed. Good thickness on each cut,. The restaurant ain’t cheap with their cuts. Since the ingredients are fresh, there’s nothing much you really need. But I do appreciate the size of each cut.
White fish and sweet shrimps. Fresh. The basic eel sushi is bomb. The good amount of rice matches the right amount of eel for that good taste.
The pan seared scallions, wow. Good little crunch on the outside. Warm and soft on the inside. Shrimp mango salad. Sometimes I wonder how the hell a chef can pick up a sweet and fresh mango.
Lastly, the chef was so kind and asked if we wanted anything else. My picky girlfriend deadass asked the chef to surprise us.. and of course it didn’t disappoint! The last dish with the pink wrap and the avocado eel roll was amazing. The chef was so thoughtful. The plate itself was iced , so when the sushi was placed on the plate and brought to us, it just tasted somewhat extra fresh.
Over all, it is such a pleasure to dine in this restaurant. Will def come back to visit when I’m in the area or pass by this area. And I do highly recommend this restaurant to the locals around the area...
Read moreThis place was a total disappointment. This location used to be an Italian Deli/Breakfast Sandwich Spot. I pulled in expecting to see the deli, only to find that this sushi place took over. Out of pure curiosity, and slight hunger, I went in. The plain Jane, overly simple decor jumps out and hits you in face like someone either didn't care, or they were going for a low rent look. While there were plenty of orders in paper bags waiting to be picked up, there are also plenty of tables and chairs, which means they should be prepared for people to dine in (good luck). I opted to eat in, and I ordered the Hibachi Chicken, which includes the miso soup. The soup looked like dishwater with mini pieces of tofu. The Coke was in a can, I had to ask for a glass with ice. The lady brought out a paper coffee container filled with ice. The food finally came out... in a black plastic three compartment to go tray. A couple that ordered sushi, received it on big beautiful white porcelain dinner plate. On top of this low rent plating debacle, the soup spoon and the fork were cheap dollar store plastic. We put out nicer plastic utensils at our BBQ. Then, the food was just as low rent as everything else. Skip this place. If you're really in the mood for sushi, hit your local...
