On the day of the install I show the workers what rooms are getting done, everything is fine so I leave for work giving the installers instructions to call me when they are close to done. They call me saying they are close to done so I drive up to my condo. When I arrive only 2 out of my 3 rooms are done. I ask the installers why my kitchen was not completed and their response was that the kitchen was never included in the initial measurements therefore they did not have enough product to do my kitchen floor. Fun fact I told Heather from LL and Josh from Mighty Oak exactly what three rooms I needed done so any miscommunication was not on my behalf. Also three different types of shoe molding were ordered with not enough of either to finish the job for any of the rooms. The workers leave for the day, kitchen not done, no shoe molding installed, and leaving all the garbage, including a roll of my old carpet, sitting at my front door for TWO DAYS ($500 disposal fee mind you). I had to call LL multiple times to get this garbage picked up. I had damage and vinyl debris all over my walls. I also noticed a crack in my new vinyl floor that was filled in with some sort of putty (putty that was also attached to my brand new carpet). To solve the problem LL says I need to pay additional monies to have the kitchen done since I was never charged for the kitchen to begin with. This is technically true but when I signed the initial contract I was under the assumption that the $4500 I was paying was for all three rooms so itâs annoying I had to pay more money. The same installers come back to complete my kitchen and they donât have enough material to finish the job AGAIN (see a pattern?). After missing a whole days worth of work troubleshooting this issue more product gets delivered and the installers reluctantly come back same day to finish the job. Once done I notice a total of two chips in the vinyl and an unwanted transition area into the kitchen. I contact LL corporate to let them know I was displeased and to try and get help to resolve my issues. I found LL corporate to be equally as difficult to deal with as the Hillsborough location. Christina emailed me asking me to answer question, but did not supply me with questions. I emailed her multiple times asking her for the question, and preemptively giving her a 10 paragraph synopsis of the issues as well a a photo log, I also spoke with Justin on the phone supplying him with the same information as Christina. I am still getting emails asking me to answer these âquestionsâ that no one at LL can seem to provide me. I talked with Amber and sent her the same emails I sent Josh and Christina and I have yet to hear back from corporate. Mighty Oak eventually came back to fix the two chips in the vinyl and to take out the unwanted transition area in the kitchen hallway, which was the only thing about this experience that went right. I appreciate that they at the very least try to salvage this job. All in all this experience was horrible. I am a first time home buyer in her early 30s that will do everything in her power to let all her friends and their friends know not use LL Flooring for any of their renovations. If this review can deter one person from using this company then Iâm satisfied. Use this company at your own risk â ď¸

Read moreWe bought a house in January (2020) and wanted to replace all the flooring with hardwood. Within 3 weeks of picking the flooring material, it was ordered, delivered, acclimated and then installed! We are extremely happy with the installer and the customer service from the lumber liquidator store; specially we worked with Alex for almost all our interactions with LL Hillsborough, from start to finish, and we are so happy and relieved that the process went so smoothly, and that we had someone so knowledgeable and helpful to stay in touch with at every checkpoint. Would 100% recommend this store if you are looking to get flooring installed- ask for Alex- you...
Read moreHorrible customer service. I got caught in traffic when driving an hour to pick up my order that was already paid for. Several store associates told me not to worry, that they'd wait 10 minutes. I was there 3 minutes after the standard closing, and the store was dark. Returned message the next day told me they would never stay a minute past closing. Poor service, I canceled my order and will never shop here again. Had they told me up front they had a hard close at 6, I wouldn't have continued the hour drive to pick up my order. Typical retail associates who lack customer service skills and respect for the customers that keep their companies...
