My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for months now. Service, food, environment and overall experience are exceptional every visit, we truly cannot get enough. We recently entrusted Joe's Pizza to cater our legendary Christmas Eve party and to say they did not disappoint is an understatement. From their pizza, apps, entrées, desserts, they hit every possible mark. There wasn't a single piece of food that either did not get eaten or taken home as leftovers. Coming from an Italian household, that is quite the honor. The food here is worth every dollar and continues to prove to be one of the best slices in all of New Jersey.

This is an unassuming place with consistently great food. There is always a mouthwatering display of different pizzas and homemade Italian deliciousness. The food is well prepared with the touch of a person who loves and respects food. I have never had anything here that wasn't excellent.

Location is nice - next to highway, but recessed enough to be away from the noise. Decor is cozy and inviting. My only issue - prices - 2 slices of pizza (pictured) and strawberry salad to go...$20 - bit too expensive for me. If you do not care about price, by all means visit.

Long story short. We woke up early this morning to fly back from vacation with our (almost) 2 year old daughter. We shuttled to the airport. Flew for 4 hours. Drove to my parent's house in Hillsborough for 45 min to pickup our car. Then jumped in the car to drive back home to PA - an hour away. Parents-of-the-year, we forgot to pack her a bottle of water for the drive home (at this point she hasn't slept for 12 hours and is pretty much at her wits end in patience). We pull over to Joe's (the only open food establishment), having never been there and I ran in to buy a bottle of water. The water rang up $1.61 but as I opened my wallet I realized I only have $1. I asked the (insanely kind) guy at the register if they accepted credit cards for a $1.61 transaction and he (obviously) said no. HOWEVER........ he then proceeded to say that it wasn't a problem. That I was free to take the water and, "get it the next time you come in." WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?! I was so shocked and taken aback! Nobody does this anymore! Family restaurants that work on a system of trust and kindness, care for their community and a respect for their customers are non-existent! I then told the nice man that I had $1 and he said that was totally fine and allowed me to buy the water for just that! He had no idea the back story, no idea how frustrated and tired our daughter was. All he knew was that a young woman came in to his restaurant, picked out a bottle of water and didn't have all the money to pay for it. I realize this review says nothing about the quality of pizza. But I can say with utmost confidence that if they put as much kindness, love and care into their food as they do into their customer service and relationships with their customers, I have no doubt in my mind that their food is phenomenal! The next time we visit my parents I will definitely be stopping by Joe's, picking up a pie and updating this review! ...

The first time I went to Joe's was when I was 13 years old. I was on a school trip and we stopped there on the way back to the school. I never forgot about it because it was such good pizza. I'm 20 now. I've been working in a pizza place for the last 2 and a half years and I still think they have the best pizza and haven't found a place that tops them! I will secretly cheat on my job with Joe's pizza no matter what!!! They have great customer service if anyone tells you otherwise they're probably just snobby people. I've been in here several times and watched people be disrespectful. It's in an area where you might find people like that more then other areas. People in the Hillsborough area are sometimes very rude and act entitled. They're not understanding of the fact that this is a very busy place! And it's busy because it's sooooooo fricken good! They always have a great selection of slices on the counter which is usually what I go for. I have gotten a pasta dish once and it was out of this world. I got Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The bread it always soft and warm. And they have very good tasting olive oil 👌🏻 Tonight I got an antipasto salad and a slice of chicken penne vodka. Both were so good! Prices are high because the quality of food is right up there with it. If you don't want to pay for good food then you won't get it! Employees are hard working and I always see fantastic teamwork going on which I love to see! I will always recommend Joe's pizza to everyone. Definitely worth stopping in no matter what you get you...

First off, I use to come here and I liked the brothers carmine and his twin. They were so nice and made everything more enjoyable. Since they left the place has gone down hill in my opinion. Their prices are never consistent. It’s always a different price. It’s like they pick and choose what to charge you. Also god forbid you order a child’s size chicken tenders with fries forget about it! They told me they don’t have a kids size or smaller portion for that specific order when it clearly says that on the menu. They ( meaning the bald guy with the tattoos and his other employees) continued to talk about me in Italian which is similar to Spanish and I understood what they were saying and basically ridiculed me for ordering the kid size. They then took forever on purpose to get my order out and ready for me. The bald guy with the tattoos is just miserable looking all the time and has an attitude problem. I’m never going back today was the last straw. I gave them numerous chances. So...
