Snack Mania — Restaurant in Hillside

I ordered from here here and there, nothing ever to say about their pastries they are delicious. But recently decided to give something else a try, ordered a wrap thinking I would get something like that they advertise on their instagrams.

I was working the Election polls so ordered a wrap to go to eat in store since we only get 1 hour in break. Opened up my wrap and it was badly wrapped, but not only that 3/4 filled with lettuce. I could count the amount of protein with one hand (pictured).

Tried to eat it - couldn’t do it. Complained to the staff and the manager was accommodating. They re wrapped my wrap and appeared to have been able to make one whole wrap from my half wrap, that’s how much pure lettuce was in it. Couldn’t finish it.

My fries and pastries were good though, will probably just stick to that. Or in the future just not get a wrap from there and try something else from...

As a Brazilian, I am a little disappointed after my visit here today, 4/26/23 around 11:45 am.

I come here often but today made me feel uncomfortable. This restaurant should be a place where all races feel welcomed.

Today I watched the cashier checkout someone who was not Brazilian. His order was pre-ordered by someone else. She mentioned to him that his order came with 2 cans of Guarana and because he didn’t know what Guarana is, she talked to him rudely and it clearly made him uncomfortable. The man apologized for not knowing what Guarana was and I honestly felt so bad for him. He shouldn’t have had to apologize for not knowing what a drink was.

I ordered a banana smoothie with whole milk and received a half empty cup with what seems to be dirty water. I advised the supervisor whom stated he made it himself and that I was lying because I just didn’t like it now if you see the picture would you have drunk that? Does it look edible? Most importantly DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT HAS MILK??? He was so not helpful and careless of the fact that I order here constantly. If I can give 0 stars for this inconvenience I will .
