Rutgers Avenue Park — Attraction in Hillside

I grew up in this park! Plenty of memories from camp there in the summer, to the baseball diamond playing kickball (down the other end of the park going towards mill rd) & running down the hill from chancellor avenue before u reach Rutgers Avenue there's a shortcut down a bunch of stairs that all the kids used to take going to the school there... Not much to do for the older kids unless they're practicing their sports (there is a diamond on the rutgers avenue side as well) but for ages 8 & under they'll b occupied for...

Nice nature view, fresh air, secure, safe place to relax, celebrate with family if needed, has a lot of parking space, keep in mind the park closes at 9pm and the police will patrol to notify you of the park...

Is beautiful and has a playground for children and soccer field too. You can walk around the park. There is parking space too. There a lot of garbage that is around the river. But you can still enjoy the beauty...
