Cook Out — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

My family and I were visiting the island and hear highly of cookout and we were very excited to try it. we got there around 830 not realizing the lobby closed at 8. so we went through the drive through and pre warned the guy taking our order that we had a huge order and he said it was fine. as we were ordering he was not the kindest, he responded with "what else" in a rude mono tone after everything we said. once we were done and got up to the window we made sure to ask for a receipt due to it being such a large order, which he failed to give us. we only got 1 receipt with our total (96) and it did not include what we ordered. we had a total of 12 boxes and they couldn't even provide us a bag so we got all of the boxes individually. as he started handing us our drinks (which we had 9 of) he was handing them to us one by one with no drink carrier and he wasn't even telling us what drinks he was giving us so we weren't sure what we all already had in the car. once we had about half of our drinks he then asked us what drinks we were missing, i responded with i am not sure. the guy proceeded to say "well you're gonna have to help me out here because i don't know what you all ordered" after everything was handed to us he asked us if we had everything and we again responded with "we aren't sure" because nobody was telling us what they were even handing us when it was coming through the window. once we got home and checked our boxes , we found that all of our boxes had around 5-10 fries each and our burgers that we asked to be plain had everything on them

i have years of customer service experience and i have never once been that unorganized and rude to a customer. the customer service here sucks and the white guy with dark who was clearly intoxicated here sucks too. i would not recommend this location to anyone. you're better off driving the few extra minutes to a...

I was excited to hear we were getting a cookout on HHI. The food was always amazing and fresh. However out of my many visits to this location this while be my last. I pulled into the drive thru and sat there for over 6 mins said excuse me and received no answer so I drove around to the window assuming there speaker may not be working. I asked the associate if I could place my order she stated mam you did not order while chomping on her chewing gum. I told her I was sitting there for over 6 mins and even tried to get someone's attention. So then stated well I cant take your order here and you'd have to drive around again... If my kids were not in the car and wanting cookout I would have just went elsewhere but for them I went back around. once to the speaker I hear her still chomping down on her chewing gum I could barely hear her say wait a sec so I started to order next I hear ma'am you need to hold on. I was at this place from around 10:00PM to 11:00PM on 9/5/21. I was held hostage in an inescapable drive-thru for literally over one hour before I got my food. When I ordered my food, I asked for cheese fries and chedder bites. The person at the window kept acting confused about me wanting cheese fries, which are on the menu at the drive-thru, and kept trying to make me get just regular fries. Then when I said I also wanted cheddar bites she asked in a raised pitch, "You want cheese fries AND cheese bites?," as if there is something wrong with that. Then all she gave me was regular fries with NO cheese. This woman really didn't want me to have cheese fries, and literally refused to give them to me. And, of course, I wasn't going to wait another hour to go back through. I will NEVER go back to this place. Don't bother going there, especially if you like cheese.
