Escape Room Escape Island — Hotel in Hilton Head Island

The owner, Brandy, well... ma'am hats off to you for this great adventure. My family visited with Escape Island for our very first escape room journey and we give it 5 stars. We had a chance to see if our family really could work as a team, welp I guess we can, with 26 seconds to spare WE GOT OUT!!! Our family did "The Dr's In" sooo much fun and nerve racking all at the same time. First timers, beware... EVEYRTHING CAN BE A CLUE. We used the lighing system to tell us if we were doing well or not, and that was helpful.

Brandy did such a great job explaining to us what we needed to do. Im sure while watching us from the control room she had some pretty great laughs. My 7 year old was able to play, as well.

Escape island DOES ACCEPT ISLAND BUCKS, if you are getting the discount from doing the HHGS time share tour note 2 humans per ticket.. if your an odd group like us, you will pay when you arrive. Just be upfront and let Brandy know you have a odd group number.

You will need to make a reservation because your game will last an hour. We wished we could have booked another session before closing out our time, but we will be back.

Brandy is a sweet person and again she is the owner so if you call and don't get her please leave a message... she DOES call back. You are also able to book your session online. Again she does take island bucks and discount certificates from HHGS, so plan ahead. When we return we will do the Cowboy theme, jail break out one. OH YES WE WILL BE ⁰COMING BACK.

Absolutely amazing!!! We did "The Doctor is in." We were skeptical as we've done few in Florida area and one around Savanah that had to do with prison breaks. What we've discovered is that the interaction the host gives us has a lot to do with the overall experience. We called for this one, and he assured us it was his favorite. We chose to drive an hour to Hilton Head to give this one a shot. When we arrived, the host was very welcoming and would not give us any idea of what to expect since he didn't want to give anything away. All we can say was, "Wow!!!! The absolute best thing he did for us when we were in our last 4 minutes and freaking out was a clue stating that if we do the chicken dance, he could offer a little more time. We took it in a heartbeat as we were so close!! We had never been offered that type of opportunity in any escape experience. We were so thrilled we had him take a pic with us at the end. I’ve been to several escape rooms over the past several years in Denver, Dallas, Atlanta, and, now in Hilton Head, Brandy has the best setup and has been best host. She wants to make it as fun and flexible as possible for you. She’s super friendly and encourages your input. We went into a harder room and she introduced a light that would either change green, yellow, or red. Based on the color of the light, it would indicate to you how on track you were (green light) or if you were slowing up too much (yellow light) or needed to speed up quickly (red light) (This light is also optional for those who don’t want to know how close or far they are from escaping the room). I liked it because sometimes you aren’t sure if you have uncovered enough clues in 30 minutes or whatever. The rooms themselves were creatively decorated and fun.
