We have to avoid several ingredients when eating out, website says housemade icecream. I’ve asked for an ingredient list for the vanilla several times via messenger. They responded that it has a milk allergen, but seems that they don’t want to provide the ingredient list. Unable to get anyone on the phone also. We are looking for real icecream locations without the HFCS, thickeners, dye etc. Until I can get an ingredient list, I unfortunately am going to have to leave 1 star. I’m assuming ingredients are like all the other places.

They claim it’s house made icecream, but unfortunately there’s no way to know because they will not show a list of ingredients. They claim its proprietary, however every single food item in a grocery store has an ingredient list. It’s safe to assume things like high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, dyes, gums and thickeners exist. Unfortunately this is another example of greenwashing and making claims that just aren’t true. We will not be able to patronize this business.Good customer service would be to simply provide a list. Don’t read in to, “house made...

The MilkShake Factory has a lot going for it. It's in a good location and the building exterior looks welcoming. The interior is crisp white and looks clean. The people are friendly and helpful. The variety of ice cream treats the place offers is impressive.

However, there is some room for improvement as well. My wife ordered a Peanut Butter Bananas & Cream Molten Cup and said it was quite tasty with plenty of peanut butter taste. I got a simple, classic chocolate milkshake. It was smooth and tasty, but with one basic flaw. There were small clumps of what appeared to be unsweetened cocoa throughout the shake. The small clumps were not too off putting, but I got a few large clumps that made the milkshake generally unsatisfactory. However, I did appreciate the extra-wide straws that made sipping the shake easy.

Overall, the place has great promise and potential. But a place that calls itself MilkShake Factory should serve an absolutely flawless milkshake. This time, the factory came up a...

The milkshakes here are really good—so good, in fact, that some are so chunky they could use bigger straws! I especially enjoyed the texture and creativity of the shakes. On the downside, the bark I tried was a bit lacking in flavor.

However, the biggest concern for me was sanitation. While I was there, none of the staff wore hair nets, and I noticed them frequently touching their faces or sweaty hair and then continuing to handle food without washing their hands. I think the place could really improve by paying more attention to food safety practices.

Overall, great milkshakes, but there’s definitely room for improvement on hygiene and a...

My family & I were in Hilton Head for a vacation and we had never heard of the milkshake factory before. We saw it online & decided to stop by one day after lunch to try it. I am dairy free and it’s hard to find places with good/real DF ice cream/shakes (not dole whip or sorbet). This place BEYOND exceeded my expectations. The DF cookies and cream shake was the best I have ever had in my tons of years of being DF— it truly tasted like a normal milkshake. I’m glad we stopped by in the beginning of our vacation because it allowed us to have time to go again before we left! Highly recommend to everyone, but especially DF people!

I placed a very large to-go order from Milkshake Factory on their grand opening day, and everything was absolutely perfect. Despite how busy they were, every item was correct, packed well, and tasted amazing. The staff was also so kind and welcoming—even with the grand opening rush, they were all smiles and super helpful. It was such a great experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be recommending them to everyone as the go-to sweet treat. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!
